      Looks like she just skipped the undereye concealer. In fact, it doesn’t look like she’s wearing much makeup at all.

    I LOVE those shoes.

    I don’t know about ScarJo here. She is so, so beautiful, but somehow rarely seems to enhance it in the body, face, and hair department – I’m not even sure how that’s possible. The dress is pretty, and the hair and makeup don’t detract from her beauty, which is a plus, but…I don’t know. It’s still fairly blah.

    I think it’s a great dress on her, although the sleeves are wrinkled and puckery.  The shoes looked boring at first glance, but the closeup shows that they are actually quite sharp.

    All of the individual pieces here are nice, but all together they’re just kind of “MEH.” The dress is pretty, but she could have done better with a color, and her hair and makeup scream “I couldn’t be bothered.”

      Agreed … MEH. I think the issue is that she’s a movie star, know for being gorgeous, and here she just looks like your cute friend on vacation in Paris. “Hold still, Hon, I want to take your picture in front of this art thingy.”

        You know, I’ve never gotten the whole gorgeous thing with her.  She’s pretty, but I feel like people just fall all over themselves saying how out of the world beautiful she is.  I’ve never gotten it, or her.  She’s always MEH to me–acting and otherwise.  The dress washes her out, her hair washes her out, and she didn’t look she could be bothered to put forth much effort.  

        –Marlie–I just noticed that you said that. Obviously there’s a running theme of meh-ness in this look.

    My first thought was that she looks lovely, then I saw the sleeves…. For an event which apparently involves walking on cobblestones in stilettos, I think she looks great, though.

    I love this dress and she looks beautiful in white. I’m hoping she had a pair of flats tucked into that cute little clutch as I wouldn’t want to take on those cobblestones in those shoes – although I love them with this look. Understated hair and make-up is pretty and seems appropriate. I’d say this was a great effort from Scarlett.
