    BITCH IS TURNING IT.

This is the first time I’ve seen her new hair and really loved it.  Her face just looks gorgeous, but she does need just a touch of color on her lips.  But wait, are those pants-in-the-back-skirt-in-the-front?  I will only sign off on the top, which I think looks good.

    • NC_Meg

I’m also wondering if it’s a skirt or what. I can get on board with it if it’s a skirt. If it’s a floor length skort…I am speechless at the mere thought of it.

      • http://michjeff-quiltersparadise.blogspot.com/ Michelle Young

I’m pretty sure it is a skirt only.  There is a little pucker there but I don’t believe these are pants.

        • lindsmh

The description says “Temperley London top and pants.”
I like everything from the waist up, but those pants… No.

          • DTLAFamilies

She looks so great from the front that I’m going to pretend I didn’t read that.

        • tereliz

LOL, I didn’t want to believe it was pants, either. But sadly, the right leg has that weird fold that stretches to the left side, presenting the illusion of a wrap-skirt.

          • http://michjeff-quiltersparadise.blogspot.com/ Michelle Young

            Yes, I guess so. Weird!

  • petalfrog

    LOVE it. She’s so tiny!!!

  • MilaXX

    cute!

  • http://twitter.com/juliafoxtrot Julia Fox

Wow, I usually dislike the way she dresses, but she is killing it here! I have never seen her hair look this good.

  • VicksieDo

Happiness is pretty.  This outfit is one I would wear if I were her.

  • frannyprof

Those are pants?! Love the top.

  • http://twitter.com/tangodiva Tanya Wade

I sincerely love this. Like a 1930s usherette sent to the future. Wish I could Miley my hair!

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

That is one long skort. :)    Actually, I think she looks great.

I don’t know, from the neck up she is stunning, but while I like the top and pants the first thing I thought of was 1930′s middle aged socialite entertaining guests. All she needs is a cigarette at the end of a long holder and to croon “DAHLING! So glad you could make it!”

    • teensmom99

I thought I was the only one who thought this. I thought she’d add: “When all the gals arrive, we can start playing mah jong.”

      • http://twitter.com/Alloyjane Alloy Jane

I totally agree.  I’m loving the hair and the make-up isn’t awful or anything.  But that outfit.  [raises eyebrow]  It’s a time machine for sure.

  • Kyle Crawford

    yeah.. wow, she looks great…

  • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

She looks fine, but only when I remove my lens of only-partially-irrational hate.

    • mhleta

Yeah, I smell what you’re stepping in there completely.

  • nannypoo

This might be the best she’s ever looked.

  • mhleta

Well, aside from the possibility that these are skants, I’m liking this look. Pulled together, very Joey Heatherton. As long as I don’t have to listen to her, this is very good.

  • teensmom99

I seem to be in the minority here, but I think she dressed for the mah jong game with all the other Miami Beach matrons.  Why, oh why, Miss  Miley do you always dress too old? (except when you had the Philly art student ensemble).

  • kimmeister

I really like the top half, although I wish the top didn’t have two zipper pulls.  I marvel at how relatively unwrinkled those satin pants are.

    • tereliz

Right? How did she arrive with absolutely no wrinkles? Did she change at the venue? Bring her own steamer? Teleport there?

  • poggi

While I do not like this in principle, I really like it on Miley.  She looks pretty and kind of fresh, and SO much better than many of her other appearances.  If these were simply wide leg trousers and not some odd carwash pants I would like it even more.

  • Zippypie

Love the vest but wish the pants weren’t shiny.  I’m digging Miley’s hair everytime I see it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/molly.oberhausen Molly Oberhausen

     cute

  • http://twitter.com/MandySCG MandyJane

I don’t like the dress on her at all, but I love her hair and makeup. She looks like a young beautiful girl, as she should!

  • Imasewsure

Top half adorable… bottom half… not really but I still applaud it since it probably looks better in motion

  • guest2visits

This is fairly nice for Miley; the hair is way cute.
The white satin pants look on the verge of cheap to me, but that’s because they’re giant white satin pants.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/Y3OY6COEVBS2STNCUNIRZ3COUE Claudia

Are they pants?  Its too hard to tell…

  • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

Really? She couldn’t have paired that top with a pair of tight pants and made it actually look youthful? She had to go with that floor-length whatever? Just because they’re the same color doesn’t mean they go together, honey.

  • thehousesparrow

    Very nice.

  • quiltrx

I like this!  But if that is her hipbone jutting out, I’m going to have to demand that she eat a sandwich or three.

  • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

I think she’s starting to get comfy in her skin. Good girl!

  • afabulous50

She is barely recognizable anymore.  I guess that’s the point.

  • Larkin21

Really loving her hair, style and color. Not usually a fan of that dyed blond shade but it’s really working for her.

    She. Looks. Awesome.

She’s convinced me that chopping off the hair was the right decision, especially since she is trying so hard to continue her acting career as an adult. I am not so convinced about that shiny white skirt/wrap palazzo pant? She’s thin enough to wear it without looking like a refrigerator, but that’s still a large expanse of shiny white.

The top is a nice piece that speaks to her rocker-girl tendencies but blessedly keeps her bits covered. A classier version of her typical Poison-groupie garb. I wish she had traded the tacky body-chain for a more substantial necklace or cuff, and I wish the bottom half of the look were darker. The silhouette is actually nice, and looks good on her. She’s just very very white here, it needs some contrast.

  • kolokOlchik

    Pants?

  • l_c_ann

    She looks pretty.

I don’t understand how the two pull zipper works.

Elaine Stritch looks GREAT for her age.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I don’t hate it (damning with faint praise).

The pants don’t bother me as much as I thought they would, and the top is cute and age appropriate. Not bad, considering her track record.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1208138556 Sara Munoz Munoz

    Oh, I like this!

  • http://twitter.com/TigerLaverada TigerLaverada

She looks pretty good, although borderline bobblehead. Hope she didn’t have to, like, lean back on a chair seat or something at any point. That would get mighty uncomfortable mighty fast.

  • formerlyAnon

    Love the new hair.

I’d have to see how the skort-pants move to pass final judgement, but on principal I approve. I love long full pants. And from what you can see of the rear they don’t do anything ugly to her young, trim backside.

    Well done.

  • boweryboy

Hair and make-up is nice.  That is all.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Paige-Boerman/670140590 Paige Boerman

Wait, are those pants? Props for that, but it isn’t working for me.

  • alyce1213

Surprisingly nice, especially for her.  I may be in the minority, but I dislike her haircut.  It’s hard- and cheap-looking, which is the last thing she needs.

  • Mildred20

The pants must be an homage to her dad’s old mullet – party in the front, business in the back.

  • Jennifer Coleman

Holy Crap – she looks great! *cue lightning bolt from hell* And I can co-sign the kooky pants/maxi skirt because she’s so young.

  • granddelusion

Wow, somewhat tasteful! I think the pants would look better as a skirt, but they’re so wide they look like a skirt anyway, so, kudos! to whoever dressed her.
