Ugh. Hate that she cut off the interest at the bottom.

Is it possible now that she’s wearing “Short Tight and Shiny” all the time just as an FU to Nina?

    • kikisayshi

My thoughts exactly. I hated this dress until I saw the runway version, which is not bad. And I’d be afraid to be sitting below the runway because it looks like you might get a glimpse of the goods.

      • MoHub

Actually, you can pretty much see “the goods” outlined by the dress itself.

      • frederieke

I noticed a slight look of horror on some of the designers faces when she walked out in  this. Maybe that was why.

    • 3boysful

She cut off all the interesting part.  Now she just looks like Xena the Warrior Princess’ slutty cousin from the city.

  • EverybodysStarling

Did she gain a few pounds?

    • Jill_3

We don’t discuss people’s bodies here.

I REALLY wish she hadn’t cut off the bottom. It makes it her standard short, tight, shiny and GUESS WHAT? Cheap. Considering this dress costs as much as, I don’t know, my first car? That’s a crime.

      • EverybodysStarling

Oh, we don’t? Sorry. It wasn’t meant in a mean way, anyway.

        • Jill_3

No worries. It’s just better if we keep the convo to the clothes. Though I will admit, this horrid dress does not flatter her in the slightest. Which, when you’re Heidi Klum, is ridiculous.

          • EverybodysStarling

She really should”t have had it altered, no doubt about that.

        • EveEve

Not to comment on her body and any possible recent changes to it, but that dress is at least one size, possibly two sizes,  too small from the bust down. And the bust is also ill-fitting.

          • RebeccaKW

I feel that a dress should never be so tight, I can tell where your thong strap is hitting.

    • Call me Bee

Whether she did or didn’t, that dress is tailored so tight–even if she had less than 5% body fat, she’d look lumpy in it.  (I knew you weren’t being mean–I thought so, too.)

    • Aurumgirl

I think any dress that creates so many shiny surfaces and so many horizontal lines will make the skinniest model look lumpy. It’s just a cheap, tacky, and unflattering dress, made even less flattering and interesting with the bottom frill removed.  I wish Heidi would dress her age–she’d look at least 10 years younger.

  • crash1212

Of course. She would take the lengthening ‘flounce’ off the bottom. Tight, shiny and short.

  • ChristinaRi

    Too tight!

You can see every little lump and crease right down to where her panties cut across her hip.  This is not attractive.

It’s a cute dress though.  I liked it better with the bottom ruffle.

  • A. W.

She looks like a stripper at a theme club. The indentations in her hips from her equally too-tight underwear is a classy addition.

  • Janet B

On TV I knew it wasn’t a pretty dress, but now I can see it doesn’t even fit well.

  • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

Too small and it’s an exaggeration to make an Herve Leger dress both tighter and shorter, i.e. more body-con. Unnecessary, Heidi. Like shouting in someone’s ear.

  • formerlyAnon

Sweet Jesus. She looks like the sexy scientist in a mummy movie who turns out to be the reincarnated or time-traveled evil Egyptian priestess.

At least she didn’t wear the runway shoes.

  • Jessica O’Connell

Wow. WAY too tight! And she definitely shouldn’t have taken off the rest of the skirt…

  • gabbilevy

Oh, Heidi, honey. I know you’ve made your career making dresses like that werq for you, but this is not your dress anymore. The tighter, shorter, and shinier the dresses get, the more desperate she looks.

    • raininmai

I’m beginning to think she may have “taste issues.”  ;)

      • l_c_ann

        Beginning to think?

  • http://twitter.com/GriffinClubMerv El_Merv

The dress would be hotter if it fit properly. Yo, Heidi – it’s time to migrate from the XXS to the XS!

  • dschubba

If she was going for waitress at Caesar’s Palace, she gets an A+.

  • http://profiles.google.com/marteani Barbara Guttman

If I can see your panties through the dress, it’s too tight.

It’s not particularly flattering to her bust either.  Something about the scoop doesn’t work for me.  Maybe it’s the illusion of a badly fit center gore.  It looks smushy.

  • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

She’s going to start getting the Lea Michelle Of Course treatment.

In addition to being too tight, it makes her boobs look droopy.

  • PastryGoddess

Ok Fraulein Klum has gone too far.

I’m calling a Mutton dressed as Lamb penalty on this look.  Personal foul…10 year penalty

  • Hetha Innis

I am a huge Heidi fan and think she’s spectacularly beautiful. But this looks atrocious.

  • BuffaloBarbara

I’m not sure what to say about the dress.  It would be a really pretty costume (particularly with the original flounce).  She’d be a particularly fierce warrior queen in a fantasy epic.  As someone who appreciates a good costume, it’s pretty, and kick-ass with the runway model’s boots, like she’s just off Paradise Island and waiting for a lift on the Invisible Jet.

But she’s not in a new Wonder Woman movie, unfortunately, and it’s a bit much if you’re not at a con.

  • http://www.facebook.com/alexandra.pimenta Alexandra Gama Lima Pimenta

The original dress is gorgeous. Heidi turned into a cheap hoochie stripper dress, who’s trying to pick up drunk tourists in an Egypt themed Vegas hotel.

The only thing missing is the Liz Taylor’s Cleopatra make-up.

    • formerlyAnon

And the ring on her finger needs to be a scarab ring.

      • 3boysful

Doesn’t it look like the Princess Di/Princess Kate ring?  Odd choice here.

  • alyce1213

I’ve never been a fan of Hervé Léger, always thought his stuff was stripperish (especially bandage dresses), and Heidi just made it worse.

  • newleaf1

This is just so bad, and on such a pretty woman!  It’s too tight so it makes her look lumpy, her breasts are completely smushed, and it just reeks of just-divorced desperation.  Heidi.  You are smart and beautiful.  Stop doing this.

  • Call me Bee

Wow–that dress is all kinds of unflattering.  While Fraulein Klum has a rockin’ body, having a dress so tight would make a size -0 model look lumpy.  And I gree–the most interesting part of the design was left on the cutting room floor.  Was never a fan of outlining the boob area, either.  All-in-all not a good look.

  • raininmai

At the very least, it’s ill fitting. Also, I hated it. What was she thinking?

  • Sara__B

Too tight. Too short. Leaves almost nothing to the imagination.

    • MoHub

       Almost?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=667203651 Susan Stroud Lloyd

When you have VPL on the front of your body, you probably should have gone up a size…

    • kimmeister

And when your thong is visibly digging into your skin, you should’ve gone up a size in the thong as well!

      • Nelliebelle1197

I just saw the thong. Ohhhh…..no…….

  • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

Is she wearing a ripoff of Cathy Cambridge’s engagement ring?!

  • http://twitter.com/jsEsteves Juan S. Esteves

yeah its short tight and shiny… kluminizer klassic, but this time its short tight and shiny with droopy boobs!!!!, the cleavege its just wrong, cheap looking, dont show that much of your legs and boobs and the same time; and dont show up so much of legs evaaaahh!

  • http://www.facebook.com/christy.w.parker Christy Ward Parker

Actually, I liked this dress.  It was the OTHER dress that she wore in this episode that I found hideous.

  • rivula

My jaw dropped.  I’ve never seen her look so off!

  • holdmewhileimnaked

    oh for heavens sake.

now we have sure proof that all the money in the world, continual use of gyms & trainers, endless nipping, tucking, horribly horribly painful cannulae, needles full of toxins & potentially post-mortem fillers [post someone else's mort], not to mention facials & tanning beds & spray tans & fabulous hairdressers & free designer goods created to yr unaesthetic spec &, you know, more & lots of it–anyway, all this put together, even all of this cannot keep one from looking entirely mortal.

  • Trisha26

    Her hair looks nice.

    • kimmeister

It does, and so does her makeup!  At least she didn’t do the weird eyeliner from the baby challenge with this look.

  • l_c_ann

Those anatomical details that her episode 1 too tight green dress emphasized?  Well, she’s found a way to spot light them in a different color.

Too much jewelry and none of it the jewelry that might look right with this dress.

So, let’s ask a PR question:  Where is this girl going?

  • Fordzo

I felt like I knew her much too intimately after seeing her in that dress.

  • nannypoo

Oooh, so slutty. Tell me again why she’s qualified to judge fashion designers.

  • Scarlet39

She has really jumped the shark with this one.  The too short, too shiny, too tight is now officially a joke.

  • kcaza

Before the page loaded, I saw the address ‘heidi-klum-in-herve-leger’ and promptly rolled my eyes.

    Frau Klum has not disappointed.

  • thehousesparrow

Not flattering on her, and the color fades into her hair and skin.

  • schadenfreudelicious

    oh Liebchen nein….

  • quiltrx

Looks like she picked this to show off her more Amazonian-type assets.

I think the bottom flounce is the most interesting thing about the runway version, and of course Short/Tight/Shiny had to do away with that.

  • Patricia Gillett

Why didn’t she keep the hem from the runway version? It would come have come across as so much less… desperate? As designed, in the right size, and at the right length, it’s not a bad dress. That said, the neckline does Heidi’s chest no favors and there’s no fixing that. She should have let someone else have this one. On her, as she modified it,  it’s the wrong dress, wrong color, and wrong taste level.

    • Nelliebelle1197

But since the dress is probably more appropriate for a red carpet or a Roman cocktail party, the ruffle, which I like quite a bit actually, would have made her look like a can can dancer on the runway. Why wear this kind of thing AT ALL?

  • sweet_potato

This, one of our most prominent arbiters of style. When I saw her come out in this get up, I had to shake my head.  The runway version looks great but it really needs that bottom flounce.  Heidi (DESPERATELY) needs someone on her staff who isn’t afraid to tell her when something is too tight.  I mean, this woman is a supermodel and she looks positively lumpy in this.

  • sk8tfan

It looks like a Mummy costume for Halloween. And it doesn’t fit properly, which is unflattering and not sexy at all.

  • http://twitter.com/lolacestmoi Veronika Kaufmann

Ms. Heidi has always had taste issues. Only recently has she gotten it right some of the time. Unfortunately, this was decidedly not one of them.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=584097810 Terry Free

    One Word: Xanadu.

  • ojosazules

     It’s a golden potato dress.

  • BrooklynBomber

    Trifecta!

  • bionicgyal1

Xena warrior princess’ night on the town

  • http://twitter.com/angelestrails Natasha

I usually forgive Heidi for her short n’ shiny syndrome, because the woman has a hot bod and wants to show it off, I get it. But this? Totally tacky.

  • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

I sad it during T Lounge and I’ll say it again: SLUTTY KHALEESI.

The original dress is pretty fab, though. And her version would make a pretty badass cosplay.

  • MilaXX

Both the version the model is wearing and the one Heidi is wearing are too young for her. She has officially slipped into desperate mode.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

It was already tacky, and she multiplied the tacky factor by a thousand by making this thing shorter.

  • Allison Woods

I think the dress is actually kinda pretty and interesting on the model (well the shoes are WRONG, but the dress looks cool)  but again, HEIDI, WHY YOU DO THIS? Somehow, tight, short, shiny was kind of a mildly witty trademark, but now it’s “did you miss seeing my mons pubis before? Well, here’s another look! It’s just….damn, she could wear ANYTHInG, and this is what she chooses, time and again? ARGH!

  • mhleta

I’m completely embarrassed for her. She’s riding a runaway rocket to Planet Janice Dickinson.

  • afabulous50

Jesus!  She looks more trussed up than a Thanksgiving turkey!

  • Judy_S

Contrary to most of those who have posted, I think she looks good in this dress, though I think the dress itself is hideous.  Yes, she has a bit of a tummy there, but it’s a sensual little tummy, and the emphasis on it is maybe, um, not unhealthy in the wider world. She is “lumpy” exactly where a woman should be “lumpy.”  This is clearly not a dress for sitting down or walking more than a few steps, but as a dress for 45 seconds of walking out, saying “there are only X of you left, and soon there will be only X-1 or X-2. Now go find Tim” it’s effective.

  • SapphoPoet

That was a gorgeous dress before Heidi hacked it short.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

This is so tragic.  I don’t care much for it on the runway either, but then she went and lopped off the entire bottom and wore those ugly white hockey puck platforms.  Honestly Heidi, I can see your underwear indentation on your hips.

  • poggi

If you have to stand with your legs together, your dress is too short.

    • SewingSiren

That dress is so tight, I don’t think she could pry her legs apart if she wanted to.

  • VRuss

I don’t get why she cut off the bottom… The dress is so much prettier complete! Also, Heidi is wearing it a size too small.

  • PinkLemon

I was shocked at how distractingly naked she looked. It might be the most vulgar dress she’s worn, yet.

  • frannyprof

The problem with this look (and many of Heidi’s looks) is that she’s trying *so hard* to show off her goods that she ends up looking the worse for it. We all know she’s gorgeous and in great shape, 4 kids notwithstanding. But she’s also getting to the point in her life where she should be focusing less on proving she’s sexy and working with her body as it changes.

  • SewingSiren

I can clearly see that she is wearing panties and she isn’t wearing a bra.

  • http://profiles.google.com/katelynsypher Katie Sypher

Is it possible? A dress that actually looks incredibly unflattering on Heidi’s modelicious frame?

  • kolokOlchik

    OH MY EYES!!!

  • Anathema_Device

This might be a personal worst. I actually paused the tv to get a look at this thing on her. She needed to go up two sizes or, better yet,  choose something different. She has hit the point where these looks are making her look older and cougar-y.

The dress with the flounce is a hell of a lot cuter.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_VZLU6YVO4BRTELTTH3GRAAMWZQ Dot

She has such a fabulous body. One can only wonder why she chooses to dress herself in such ridiculous, unflattering get-ups. I’d bet anything PR contestants could see her crotch from their vantage point.

  • QuincyTKatz

But it’s too early to be wearing you halloween costume heidi.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1183772509 Jen Hughes

    Greek hooker

  • cleep1000

She looks ridiculous. At least her hair is better than it’s been.

  • Tatiana Luján

Will someone in teh next PR All – Stars call on Heidi’s bad taste?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1107502269 Chuck Barthelme

If the bust line had been adjusted for her actual bosoms, instead of the runway version with very little room, and if she hadn’t gotten rid of hem I’d say it would have worked. As it is, though, I feel like she looks like she belongs in a ancient Greek themed brothel.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Yikes, it looks both lower-cut and higher-hemmed than the version on the model. She has more boobage, and could use a really good  strapless plunge bra here. The girls are looking sad and squished. I can see her thong digging into her hip, which reminds me of Tina Fey’s quip on 30 Rock about the string tied around a roast.

The whole effect is sad, droopy, and desperate. This is a gorgeous dress that could have looked amazing on Heidi if she had only worn a bra, and the right size in underwear and dress. Should have left the hem alone as well, with it being so bare up top.

  • Donna Schmidt

Too tight and she needs Spanx to smooth this out

  • Chantelle James

OMG she looks like one of those “Real Housewives”. This looks so, so, so tacky – even compared to her usual “short, tight, and shiny”.

Edited to add: I can see her panty/thong line… and the outline of her mound of Venus. I know she’s newly single but I’m not sure she’d like the kind of man that buys what she is selling.

  • frankystein123

Switch her in place with Lea Michelle, and the commentary would surely had been a “of course”.

  • akprincess72

Girl, that is NOT your dress…

  • http://julia_here.livejournal.com/ Julia

Suddenly all I can see is that she’s wearing a replica of the Princess of Wales sapphire ring on her right index finger.

Prior to that: size up and leave the ruffle and it’s not bad, although too complicated to be great (look into a control slip if she wants to keep wearing her pre-thirty size).

  • elirt

YIKES! it looks so desperate. :(

  • snich11

    Slutty slutty slutty!

  • granddelusion

    Shes looking desperate

  • lesmaha

    a horror show.

  • Srw27

Well, of course she took of the pretty hem!  It wouldn’t be a Heidi dress otherwise :)

  • foggynight

At least her hair and make up look nice?

  • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

    Of course.

  • l_c_ann

It may be time for a new catagory:

    Woman, that’s not your dress.

  • http://twitter.com/nkk Nikki

She could go up a size or two… oh, but she’s a model size… We can see her underwear lines- gross.

  • NCDFan

This dress emphasizes the changes in her body rather than how good it still is.

  • http://twitter.com/watchinginkdry Krysta

WTF, woman, that looks like you’re on Xena.

  • guest2visits

The original dress was already sexy and revealing; unfortunately Heidi removed whatever was interesting and unique about it.
This is exactly like what she did to a couple of the PR designer’s looks when she decided to wear them herself.

  • CFNA1981

i’m glad she’s acting like a total slut… at least she’s enjoying the “new” or the upgrade status… AHAHAHAHAH

  • CFNA1981

i’m starting to puke these max azria over and over deja vu  dresses…

  • mozzer0906

    of course

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mary-Stone/100001328135240 Mary Stone

Too short. Too Tight.  Too shiny.  Unfortunately gravity does catch up with us all, and when your dress is form-fitting enough so that the viewer has a panoramic view of where your thong is grooving into your hip, it’s time to go up a size or add a spanx underneath to smooth things out.

    • Iroqhard

      My thoughts exactly. Like, literally.

  • WOWZA5

OMG-this dress made me physically ill and I cannot wrap my brain around her choices–does she own a mirror? Either her mirror lies or she is just totally so self-obsessed she thinks she looks good in anything. BAD Heidi, BAD!

  • WOWZA5

I forgot to add–HORRIBLE choice of shoes!
How can she actually be a judge of fashion?  Questionable, indeed.
    Poor thing looks so desperate.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Evelyn-Elwell-Uyemura/753814402 Evelyn Elwell Uyemura

And she has had the nerve to call some of the designers’ work “Slutty”? This looks like she rushed in from her other job as a street-walker.
