Girl, that is not your hair color

    • gabbilevy

Hasn’t it always been that color? I think it’s the makeup and the drab style that’s making her look so washed out.

      • Loola234

It looks more uniformly yellow here than it has in the past – although it could be the lights/flashes.  She has had more natural-looking blond hair at times…

      • NC_Meg

She’s always been blond but not this shade. It’s not working for her at all. She’s got such blue eyes, I think dark brown (maybe chocolate?) would look fab on her.

        • Coralie Legister

Yes! I would love to see that.

  • kerry dee

she looks surprisingly mature. I wish the dress was a slightly different colour underneath all the sparkle. It looks duller.

  • Carla_Charlton

Maybe in person this looked better, but in the photos, the color is not flattering to her and the sequins/beading make the dress too old for her. Not to mention that her hair looks way too undone for the flashiness of the dress.

  • HomeOfficeGirl

Ugh!  She’s got a Courtney Love thing going on and that ain’t good.  Wrong color for her – making her hair look a little green.
    Out, not that you asked.

  • Hetha Innis

The first Stella McCartney I’ve liked in a long time! Wrong color though!

My thought exactly. It would look great on her in a different color.

Her hair and makeup is always so tragic. And that dress doesn’t suit her.

  • nannypoo

The dress is a terrible color for her. She looks washed out in a way that only makeup can remedy and the stringy yellow hair is just wrong.

  • Sara__B

Go home and do something with your hair and makeup. That gown deserves better.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

The dress fits her well, but it makes me extremely uncomfortable. Like I am seeing her naked and covered in sand, or something.  An actual glittery, naked dress. The hair color is awful, washing her out terribly. It needs to go a cooler, more neutral blonde or a little darker for contrast.

    I feel so icky.

  • schadenfreudelicious

the hair is just tragic, surely Hollywood has colorists that could offer her a more flattering shade of blonde?…on a completely unrelated note, that bystander in the first pic looks moments away from a wardrobe malfunction….

    • understateddiva

haha!  I kind of love her, with the ombre purple hair and bemused expression.

Isn’t she 16 or 17? Am I wrong to think that this is a dress for her 10 years from now?

      18

  • Melissa Brogan

Bad hair, bad makeup, gown would look nicer on her in another color.

A Stella McCartney dress I actually like. Then Dakota here has to go fuck it up.  Do something with your hair and make up girl, glam it up. Good grief.

  • MilaXX

    That hair!

  • charlotte

That hair is in “of course” territory.

  • 3boysful

Something about the gown–the way the light hits the sparkles in certain areas?–makes this slip of a girl look huge.  The color (using term loosely) is for someone with darker skin and hair.

I think ya’ll have pretty much covered the hair.

  • frannyprof

She looks like a zombie covered in glitter glue.

  • filmcricket

I’m very uncomfortable with the fact that I’m pretty sure I can see her undies in this. Also, that is a terrible colour for anyone white – a Viola Davis or even a Halle Berry could rock it, but the pasty-of-skin should stay far, far away.

A bit of lipstick would have made all the difference, I think!

    • BrooklynBomber

That wouldn’t've helped the thong one bit!

  • ojosazules

She looks like a very pretty sad fish.

  • MilaXX

Is it me or can you totally see her black thong through that dress?

    • BrooklynBomber

      It’s not you, it’s me.

  • MoHub

    Makes her ass look humongous.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=790818401 Laurie Landry

If Madonna and Courtney Love had a baby she’d look like this.

  • Vaniljekjeks

It’s a gorgeous dress… I just wish it were magenta instead.  Maybe then I wouldn’t forget it the moment I click away from this page.

  • Iroqhard

It’s like she doesn’t even get her hair or makeup done, or is that just me? It looks like she did it herself. And she is obviously not skilled in that area. And I am on board with the assesment that the color washes her out. As a pale white chick myself, I’ve learned pastels and light colors are of the devil. Wash me right out.

  • belfebe

Girl, that is not your dress. Send it to Kate Hudson and try again.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

The dress is lovely, if a little mature. Her hair is too limp, though. And some sort of accessories (earrings, maybe) would have completed the look.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ENBX3563Q4ZNCVRGSJVFIB7OAA Thom

Wrong color, it’s a fine (if standard) gown, but the hairstyle needed much more polish.

    …And where is the clutch?

    • kimmeister

Same place where the shoes are, in magical invisible land.

  • dress_up_doll

I couldn’t bring myself to say anything bad about her because I’ve always loved her, but this look is just all kinds of wrong on her; hair, makeup, gown, color, etc. Wrong, just wrong.

  • Trisha26

The color does nothing for her, especially when she’s wearing what looks like no makeup at all. And although I will never criticze anyone’s size/weight – I believe equally in embracing curves while camouflaging flaws – this fabric makes her look enormous. The 5th photo down is the only flattering one – it’s obviously too much dress for her at this age.

  • http://twitter.com/LianaBrooks Liana Brooks

Someone introduce this poor waif to jewel tones. She keeps insisting on beige with pale skin and bleached hair (but not the brows I can’t help but notice), why is she scared of color?

  • unbornfawn

The fit is great on this very standard gown, the color washes her out. The stringy hair and pale make up makes it she is playing dress-up with mommy’s gown.

  • http://twitter.com/pointlesswords jayme

Sigh. You can’t just wear a killer dress and think you’re done for the evening. Where’s some hair/accessories styling? You’re KILLING ME.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Paige-Boerman/670140590 Paige Boerman

Girl, would it kill you to style your hair every so often? C’mon.

  • afabulous50

OMG she looks horrid.  You need makeup honey…and fast!!

  • TheOriginalLulu

Sigh. Part of me loves the fact that she doesn’t slap 10 pounds of makeup on that pretty young face, but on the other hand, that doesn’t mean she needs to always look like she just rolled out of bed, especially when she’s wearing a dress that costs more than my rent. There’s GOT to be a happy medium.
I agree with others who say that the hair color is a little off. Too yellow or something.

  • marilyn

Dress and hair:  Bad colors for her.

  • Lilak

Apparently a whole lotta bleah can also clash amongst itself: remarkable!
