Kate Beckinsale attends the Berlin photocall for ‘Total Recall’ in a Zac Posen dress paired with Christian Louboutin “Daffodile” platform pumps and Broken English earrings.

    Don’t love the shoes paired with it, and the (weird) hem is a bit too long, but she looks really pretty. I love the soft hair on her.

    and here I was thinking it’s a girl that’s not your dress.  It strangely elongates her body and makes it seem like she has small breasts that begin just below her neck and then she is so skinny & it gives her a belly–what’s up with that. Actually, she looks like a Mannerist painting.

       Totally agree. That is a weird type of bodice for her build.

      Agree. It’s a dirndl blouse atop a tight sheath and that just doesn’t work for me.  I like the color, though.

      Those shoes are horrible with the dress.

    not loving the blue suede hoofs, but the dress is very flattering and i am not typically a fan of that type of bodice or sleeves….

    This dress can’t decide what it wants to be-between the hem, the weird puffy sleeves that hit at an odd angle and the Heidi bustline. Not a fan

    She looks amazing in this. Her hair and makeup are also just right.  What keeps it from WERQ territory is those shoes.  Sorry the blue hooves aren’t cutting it for me.  Something less heavy looking, please.

    I love everything about this look except for the shoes. If she’d worn different shoes, maybe a strappy sandal, this would have been a WERQ!

    I think she’s totally making a dress work that shouldn’t work.  Don’t like the pairing of the shoes and dress, but overall I think she looks lovely.

    There’s either something wrong with the fit of the serving-wench top or there’s something wrong with her bra because she looks seriously lopsided in most of these shots and I’m pretty sure she’s not.

    Ugh, we lived though all the ugly silly putty platforms just for be faced with a season of hoofy suede platforms? Really? Is that what Fall is going to be? Kate, please: burn the shoes and hire a proper make-up artist. Glad to see she misplaced the bump-it.

    Unexpected, but she looks fabulous. I love the colorplay. The soft hair is giving her a real “Italian Sex Goddess” vibe, and the geometric gold earrings were a good choice.

    Love the dress, hate the shoes with it.  The silhouette reminds me of an outfit she wore many years ago that I have tried to emulate, only it was a white blouse with a gigantic cognac belt (like, it took up most of her torso) on top of it.

    Gorgeous silhouette, but strangely plain looking.  Some sort of textured fabric might be better, and the shoe choice is kind of weird.

    it’s a pretty dress & a pair o’ platforms i wouldnt worn even if i was fourteen [theyre that ucky]. otoh, it must be a marvellous thing, at least in the fitting room, to have a waist thats two or three inches wider than yr head.

    Thats a whole lotta purple to carry off, and she does. It’s all very pretty except the shoes are too excesively chunky; I like platforms
    but these are huge.

    This was great until I did the “scroll down fug”..the shoes are awful with it.  The color is amazing on her.

    The dress reads a beautiful purple on my screen (some have said royal blue).  It’s a little poufy–especially the sleeves–but she looks good.

    those c.l. daffodil or daffodile pumps have sure been seen on a lot of feet.  what do they have to do with daffodils?  they’re the opposite of delicate.

    Her bust seems awfully high and squished and those demi-pointed-suede-platform shoes are making my eye twitch.

    Reads a bit matronly, but overall, I think she looks gorgeous in it. Terrific color. I’ve always liked Kate Beckinsale. Not sure where the vitriol for her comes from. 

    Those heels are craaaaazy. How do people walk in those? Why would anyone want to? I can barely manage 3-inch heels. Those look like 8-inchers. Her toes are practically pointing straight down.
