    It’s a pretty dress, but it makes her boobs disappear and the gigantic butt bow clearly bars sitting down.

       oh yeah, and this dress looks alright on the model, but it doesn’t translate well to real life. it’s all puckered and shiny and the hair is all wrong.

      I think it depends on what State you are in–I have not seen any, but i am in a solidly blue state that gets ignored in the runup to the election. I was in Virginia recently, and saw loads of TV ads for Romney — never play on our local channels when I am at home.

    a gorgeous dress [fine lines albeit w/ a bit too much geegawgery] on the model that looks, of all things, homesewn on the actress. & not homesewn well–just like, junior high/middle school homesewn. maybe by a kid who’s not that bad at it, a kid who has some clever ideas, a kid who might go far w/ sewing some day but–homesewn by a kid, nonetheless.

    nice judith lieber, however.

    The dress on the model looks all kinds of weird. She looks like she’s at least 9 feet tall (is it me, or is this photoshop stretch gone awry?) and her facial expression is so pained. Now, on Kate the dress looks pained. So puckered and ill fitting. She’s in hot pink and she’s still bland.

        Oh good, I keep looking at the length of her thighs, from the hip to where her knee would be, and it’s crazy. My quick calculation shows her legs to be about 4 times the length of her torso, that just cannot be right. Would work for a stilt walker challenge though :-)

    The color is good, and the design is old school chic.  She is at a movie premiere, so this kind of dress is in order. It’s old school glam. 

    The only problem with this is that her hair looks lopsided. It looks a lot longer on the left side than on the right (facing her). It may just be an unfortunate camera angle.

    Mostly I am continuing my campaign that she sucks the life out of every gown she wears. Her body is like a black hole, no energy can escape.

    like the color on the model much better, kate is looking like a cherry popsicle.  her makeup is insipid.  donna just didn’t know when to stop on this gown.
