She doesn’t look half as tired and haggard as she normally does. Yay Flo! I like the shoes but the actual outfit is like one of those magic eye posters. (And I wouldn’t expect anything else from her.)

    • Amy Ellinger

She almost looks her age! which is 25!!??

and did you see the sailboat? took me forever to find it!

      • Joshua Woofter

         Look! A schooner!

You dumb bastard, it’s not a schooner it’s a sailboat

A schooner IS a sailboat, Stupidhead.

WELL YOU KNOW WHAT!?! THERE IS NO EASTER BUNNY! OVER THERE? THAT’S JUST A GUY IN A SUIT!

Sorry, everyone, had to get that outta my system…lol.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Laurie-S-Neilsen/775114982 Laurie S. Neilsen

          Love it!

      • NC_Meg

I’m getting flashbacks to putting my nose to the poster and slowly backing away while slightly crossing my eyes to see the picture.

And yea, she’s 25 or so. I don’t believe it and you can’t make me.

  • DeborahJozayt

I’m glad she’s back to wearing really strong bangs. It really suits her. The ankles showing the way they are is just a no.

  • teensmom99

I think this is great on her–but not for civilians.

    • makeityourself

I do too. Great colors on her and the silhouette is a lot of fun. She’s definitely in on it.

  • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

Those shoes are amazing but with the outfit she has on, they just look ridiculous.

  • Imasewsure

I love this wacky Davey Jones look on her… don’t mind that none of it really matches and the length is odd… ditch the clutch though… too much of too much is more than enough…. luv huh

  • ghopping

I really don’t like the length of these pants… And the shoes aren’t for the outfit.

  • marilyn

Sucked in again by a designer’s nasty little joke?  How can anyone sell that mess with a straight face, and how can someone be stupid enough to actually wear it in public (unless they are under 5 years of age)?  She knows how awful this is.  It is one of those ou-fits that SCREAMS for attention.  Does she really need to do this?  She is an accomplished actress and is good looking.  Why?  Why?  Why?

    • Corsetmaker

      Actress?

  • MK03

Oh, for God’s sake. Everything about this is AWFUL. And please, Flo, if you’re going to skip the makeup, at least pinch your cheeks if you know you’re going to be photographed. This corpse-in-a-zany-outfit schtick is played out.

  • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

I’m amazed that I don’t hate the top and pants. It’s cray-cray, and yet somehow it almost works. Almost, because the proportion of the pants is just not working. They need to be skinnier and longer.

The shoes, on the other hand…honey, no. And the bag, with its giant bejeweled strap, looks like it belongs to a Disney princess.

  • Corsetmaker

Nah, don’t like. I think I might like the shoes with something else.

I do like that she seems to have gone back to a lighter red. It’s much more flattering, the darker shade she was wearing for a while there was too draining.

  • frannyprof

If her pants were cigarrette pants instead of semi-capris, I would love this look.

  • Judy_S

I love this woman. She is always wearing something that would look ridiculous on mere mortals, and she transmogrifies into Flo-ness and it becomes part of her.

  • turtleemily

Made me think of that part in Garden State when Zach Braff’s shirt matches the wallpaper.

I’m not so sure that’s a good thing, even if I do like the pieces separately. I think the key of the runway look is that the shirt isn’t buttoned with less of a pattern under it to provide a place for the eye to rest.

  • http://twitter.com/cornekopia Shawn EH

Oh Flo: no, you didn’t get away with it.

  • janetjb

I refuse to like anything from anyone’s Fall 2012 collection.

It is still Summer! (Clinging to every last day of it I can….)

  • ojosazules

Too much shoe and bag for the outfit. The shoes are pretty cool, though.

  • greyhoundgirl

Way to show off the shoes with the high waders, Flo!

  • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

Too much. A case where copying the runway styling is a terrible idea.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

I love her sound, but I think she has absolutely no concept of what looks good on her. Being Karl Lagerfeld’s muse does not seem to have helped the situation at all.

    • l_c_ann

If this inspires Lagerfeld, it’s going to be a heck of a year on the runway.

  • elemspbee

    FABULOUS, H2T.

  • EveEve

    fashion victim: Exhibit A.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Flo looks like a cartoon character. If she’d paired any one of these wacky pieces (the shirt, pants OR shoes) with something a little more… neutral, she could have still rocked her hippie-chic look without looking silly.

  • MilaXX

I’m sure I’ll be in the minority, but I like everything here except the shoe. With that many patterns a simple black shoe may have been a better choice. Also the hair is looking a little frizzy, she could stand a teeny bit of serum to add some shine.

  • http://twitter.com/jaythenerdkid Aaminah Khan

Hiddy. I don’t think she has the clothes-wearing skills people claim she has at all.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=610791985 Aniela Marie Perry

Her voice just kills me, I love it. This outfit however, is giving me an aneurysm.

  • olsonam

I thought the outfit was awesome but I didn’t look at her face at all until I read the first few comments.

  • MilaXX

You know someone like Gwen Stefani could rock this outfit and look fab, on Flo it never quite works,

  • quiltrx

Flo cannot be judged like regular mortals…and this is SO Flo!!  The shoes may have gone a little too far with the rest of the look, but overall I’m loving it.  Her hair and makeup look fantastic.

(I think maybe in the past her out-and-about makeup was too much like stage makeup)

  • benjamin478

    fuck yeah

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

I cry because you did this on purpose.

  • AuntieAnonny

I’m starting to think that she has no idea what she’s wearing. She needs a new stylist.

  • Knightley

I don’t know what it is about her, but she is one of those people I irrationally dislike.  Don’t know her, don’t know her music, but in any case, that outfit is triggering a migraine.  I’m going to have to put her on a list now of people not to click on when I see pics of them posted. :(

  • http://profiles.google.com/gillianholroyd gillian holroyd

well the colors looks good on her but I wish these were cigarette pants with different shoes.

  • janierainie

As my dad used to say “I think she jumped a little too far down into her pants” .  That never looks good to me.

  • nannypoo

She needs to get rid of that hideous hairdo and get something better suited to her face. She always looks exhausted and haggard. The picture with the little almost-smile is pretty. Add a little blusher and she’d look almost healthy. Oh, and the outfit? Every part of it is awful, but I think I hate the shoes the most.

  • SewingSiren

She looks really pretty here. The pants  are too short , but I don’t care if you don’t.

  • ThaliaMenninger

I like the pants, even so short. That’s it. The shirt is too close to her hair color, and the shoes are better for Ronald McDonald on his off day when he can wear blue instead of always with the red and yellow.

  • anotherkate

More like Neck-to-Toe. I doubt Miuccia would sign off on that awful bed head.

  • SalmonCanon

I love it and I don’t care who knows it.

  • guest2visits

    This is obviously a look that makes her happy. I think it’s a walking billboard for stage play (maybe Hair);
or a character for a Saturday morning cartoon.  The pieces are so strong, I would much rather see them worn
as separates.   Worn altogether it’s performance art, – which might be exactly what she wants.

  • EverybodysStarling

These would make some killer wallpapers for my crazy aunt’s ugly apartment.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1241487378 Lauren Lynch Fox

Love her, Love it, don’t change, don’t ever change.

  • Call me Bee

Thank goodness she didnt’ wear the jacket.

    • Anathema_Device

I think the jacket might have helped, oddly enough. That way, the blouse would have been more of an accent rather than being 1/2 the outfit. Still don’t care for those prints together, though.

  • http://twitter.com/pointlesswords jayme

I love it because it is sooo very interesting! I do feel like the jacket would’ve tied it together better than the current four unrelated prints do, though. But it’s Summer and she’s giving us something fun to talk about.

  • Anathema_Device

I love pattern mixing, plus I love seeing a celebrity not cramming herself into short, tight, and shiny, but this isn’t working for me. I think the prints need to be of different scales or one needs to have less contrast. The black belt bugs me way more than the shoes do.

  • formerlyAnon

    She looks great.

Even though I think her ensemble looks exactly like what I imagine head-to-toe-Miu Miu would look like. Not a good thing. But I like the bones in her face and she looks alive & alert, so the Florence is coming out on top of the Miu Miu.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Oh, please!  Someone get her a stylist!  I get that she likes the boho hippie thing but there is a right way and a WRONG way to do it.  And if done correctly, she would look amazing.

  • granddelusion

Those hideous shoes! If women would stop buying such stupid shit, designers would stop making it. (Both would be good things.)

  • alyce1213

I just can’t take her seriously as a fashion icon — a grown woman with the hairstyle of a 6-year-old who refuses to use a hairbrush and dresses for negative attention.  Beautiful face (great bones) and a body that can wear anything — and she almost always gets it wrong.

  • Snailstsichr

Those hideous shoes take this from interesting to tragic. Plus, this outfit makes her look as elegant as a 12 year old dressed out for PE. The model definitely wore it better. I think it needed the tie/scarf and could have been improved with the jacket.

And that purse looks horrid with that outfit – she needs to send it to me immediately, as it is the only thing I like.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Heather-Snedeker-Innis/519824122 Heather Snedeker Innis

    Total clown suit.

  • AlexisPayne

I’m kind of bored with her

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/J5QKZG5NFXQE3MLXFN3MAQDUTA Mary Stone

oh dear god.  Too much going on and none of it good.  First off, shoe is way too heavy for the rest of the outfit.  I hate cropped pants and want them all to spontaneously combust now, shirt buttoned all the way to the collar is stiff as heck, dried spaniel hair and monochromatic face.  Nothing about this works for me, even though the prints on their own are quite pretty.

  • Allison Woods

    No.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1452430239 Roxanne Pedro

I feel like she goes out of her way to look 40 years older than she is and ugly to boot.  If I saw someone walking down the street in this I’d have to pull her aside and have a serious talk with her about her life choices.  Just awful.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1133424434 Maria McGarry

    Of Course.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NUZ2RGIDRXKK6ADHFPPCR6S3WI MariaM

    Of Course.

  • Susan Crawford

I keep reading that Miss Welch is in her twenties. Photographic evidence points to 35+ years of being rode hard and put away wet. Why IS this????

  • PhillipWilde

The shoes are horrifying, and the highwater hem makes my eye twitch, but overall not a bad look for Miss Flo.

  • littlemac8

Gosh, she really does look sooo young here and pretty!  That outfit brings the cray-cray!
