    That’s a beautiful gown and I think she did everything right here. Love the sleek pony and no jewelry. The dress is doing the heavy lifting here – and it suits her, fits like a glove and I love how it puddles up by her feet. Great neckline/shoulder detail. Just gorgeous.

    I LOVE it! She could have gone for some simple earrings, but I think that the whole look is gorgeous. The first picture is especially stunning, and I love how it shows off her curves.

    (Though, per her usual, it’s a teensy skosh too tight. We shouldn’t be able to see the outline of her hose/undies/foundation garments at her waist.)

    This is a seriously beautiful dress, tight but not tacky, and white is perfect.

    Don’t want this to sound like a backhanded compliment, but this dress is so much more elegant that the gowns she usually favors (gets sent to her/her stylist pushes on her? not sure how it works). She looks so lovely and appropriate to the event. Gorgeous make-up!

    She looks amazing, though the general outer-space vibe made me wondering if she was singing at NASA. Celebrating the Mars landing, perhaps? Great hair for the gown, good choice going spare and sleek in the hair and accessories. Could have been hemmed, but it does look very dramatic for simply standing and singing.

         Mr Harlow was a psychologist testing on the idea of whether comfort and bonding with a parent at an early age was important to a person’s well being. If you ever have the time, look it up on wikipedia. It is some extremely harrowing stuff and a big reason why scientific testing has regulations on ethics.

        The terry cloth refers to the “terry cloth monkeys” that acted as surrogate mothers to the orphan monkeys. It was shown they preferred the comfort of the terry cloth mothers over the “iron mesh and milk supplying” ones. Unlike normal monkies, those who had only the terry cloth monkey for emotional support were emotionally volatile and stunted. The monkeys stuck with only the iron mothers fared worse.
