Head to toe, not doing it for me. The dress: Looks… amateurish. The shoes: Tacky. The clutch: Come on, seriously? The nails: WAY tacky.

Hair & makeup, earrings: Looks good! (Though it would have been nice to go with a color other than, say, gold.

Those shoes are making me twitch. How can anything so expensive look so cheap? (Not to mention that her toes are almostbutnotquite hanging off the sides. Aaaaaa!)

Sort of like the dress. HATE all these plastic shoes and not sure about the purse. Ah, to be young!

  • Vaniljekjeks

Reminds me of something my grandmother would wear to the beach over her swimsuit.  Down to the lilac toenail polish.

  • Sue_Asponte

The dress and makeup say “classy,” the finger bling and polish say, “but youthful!” Unfortunately they don’t go together at all. Love the dress and shoes though. This would’ve been a great look without the rings and polish… but probably too boring for Bella, she’s pretty aggressive.

I don’t think those are rings.. I think it’s the handle of the purse.

      • Sue_Asponte

I just saw some of the other comments and looked again and you’re right! Oh lordy. It’s perfect for her personality. I guess I have to revise this into an “In,” though the hiddy fingernail polish brings it too close for comfort to the middle of the scale. I do love love love the shoes. I think she looks pretty good here. Nice understated makeup.

What do the shoes say? We have “classy but youthful” until we hit the ankles.

  • Funkykatt

    more plastic.

    i want those shoes!!

  • Scarlet39

These tacky mani pedis are killing me.  Hate the shoes, and why is she wearing that silver ring when she has that ornate bag?

    • poggi

Exactly, the ring and bracelet are bugging me given her bag. If you are going to do that bag then the hands and wrist (at least forone side) need to be unadorned.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Her show is terrible and she makes me tired, she’s wearing too many rings and I hate her nails. Trashy plastic shoes with a teenage pedicure (I’ll give her a pass if she’s actually a teen). Perfectly sweet dress that suits her coloring, even if it is a little big…looks like a teen who got dressed for her big night in Mommy’s closet.

The brass rings are the handle to the clutch.

      • LesYeuxHiboux

         It’s still an ugly clutch.

  • http://twitter.com/dixielou8 Ashley

I think she looks great. Needs a new toenail color though.

  • MilaXX

Cute if a little colorless. Love the pedi and even kinda like the ring.(assuming it’s a multiknuckle ring and not several individual rings.)

  • Susan Crawford

The dress and shoes – meh. But the McQueen knuckle-duster clutch? Mama wants some of that, please!

    • Amy Ellinger

I think we can take her…one could pin her down, the other do a snatch and grab!  Joint custody…every other weekend and trade holidays?!

      • Susan Crawford

        Sounds like a plan, Amy!

  • SewingSiren

I love the clutch. But when you wear a clutch like that you do not need any additional finger or wrist jewelry. The dress is suitably plain and the Cinderella shoes just kitch enough.

    Like toenails.  Hate fingernails.

  • houstonangel99

I cannot believe now they are using clear plastic to make shoes and charge you a millions….Believe me, those kind of plastic shoes can KILL your toes no matter who made them…. I have a pair of Chanel and I cannot wear it for more than 15 minutes, they HURT!!!!

  • NICHOLAS PASQUALE

I think that tulip skirt is really cute on her and the bag is awesome. Well done!

  • http://twitter.com/lenabena_ Elena

Cute, but nothing earth-shattering. Love the clutch though. At first I thought she was wearing a bunch of gaudy rings and I wanted to say, “Honey, no!”

  • SophieCollier

It’s a cute look for someone young and pretty.  I don’t even mind the shoes this time.

When I first looked at her full body shot I went “where’s her other shoe?” OUT

  • filmcricket

I’m sorry, I was too distracted by the fact that “Bring It On: The Musical” is a thing that exists to pay attention to her clothes.

  • kingderella

oh, so those brass knuckles are part of the clutch? i think i would like them better as brass knuckles, but i think theyre pretty fierce.

her manicure, bracelet, and ring dont go with it, though. and those are some tacky-ass shoes.

the dress is alright, and her face looks fresh.

  • holdmewhileimnaked

boy oh boy last season’s louboutins were f’ing dreadful while being simultaneously effing ghastly–but this season’s louboutins are, wow, just the opposite. back to a form of his form, how did he do it.

    edited to add:
is this the upmarket original version of the ring clutch or has SB gone & done the old thing of copying from below? cos i’ve been seeing them for a while now, but usually for way less money than anything marked McQ. i really do like this one, though, it’s probably the best of them. so i’m just curious. also probably the only person here who likes the funky funky manicures. thats likely cos i’ve been giving myself funky funky manicures since the beginning of time [when to do so was not at all trendy merely, instead, say, idiosyncratic {never ever call me unique].

I’m sort of surprised she didn’t get gold dots added to her pedicure, just so she’d coordinate one extra way.  Her makeup is nice but that’s about it.

  • Aurumgirl

Louboutin continues to give Candies and Payless shoes a run for their money in the cheapness of materials used competition.

  • Aurumgirl

Also have to make a note about the suddenly-everywhere-you-look  “manicures”.  They’re on the red carpet, they’re in movies, they’re on every female Olympian in close up when she holds up her medal for the camera, or even when she’s just out there, pulling back the bow in the archery contest or rowing the damn boat.  All at once and everywhere you look.

  • Larkin21

Not at all a fan of the accessories or nails but the dress is cute and hair and make-up okay.

Hate the shoes, love the dress but am unsure if you’d want to sit in a theater in that for a few hours….hair and make are good, nails suck, but I really felt the need to post because one of my friends is in the ensemble for that show! Had a real life ‘Smash’ experience, small-town boy auditioned for the show (never did any theatre besides highschool, but he did cheerleading and stunts) and got into the ensemble when it was in it’s initial workshop stages. So incredibly excited for him to be on Broadway!

WTF is going on with her left hand?!?!

The dress isn’t so bad if it fit better, or had a belt.  All around too much gold.  And I cannot sign off on ANY plastic Louboutin shoe.  God help us the man has given women an excuse to wear such a ghastly thing.

  • crash1212

First thought…jeweled brass knuckles – COOL! Then realized….never mind. Also, somebody needs to smack Louboutin upside the head and pull the plastic from his hands. Enough is enough. These are the ugliest incarnation of the plastic I’ve seen yet. Dress is OK, but doesn’t seem to fit her. Hate lavender nails. GAH! Now I’m in a BAD mood and may need ice cream to make it all better.

  • TheOriginalLulu

I really like the dress. The clutch I’d have to see a better pic of to be sure. The shoes I refuse to talk about.

  • quiltrx

WHEN are these plastic shoes going to go away?  They make everyone’s feet look so weird.

And this dress looks a moment away from a panty peek.

  • LambeeBaby

Hate the neckline and WHAT is with the awful bedazzled brass knuckles?

Hmm…I just realized it is part of her clutch. I still think it looks goofy.

  • formerlyAnon

Like the dress on her a lot. Like the clutch, but maybe not with this dress – with an edgier dress, I think. Something darker & maybe a little rock ‘n roll.

Clutch & nail art are competing.

Feet are early ’60s mobster girlfriend.
