    It’s really quite fabulous, but the effect on the dress cut outs is a bit like a sea urchin ate away the fabric, because it is obsessed with lady lumps and thus longs for a wardrobe malfunction. As it eats the fabric, it thinks about making sure the cut outs are artistic, knowing that will fool unsuspecting starlets into a potential nip-revealing trap.

    She looks like she has a stag’s head on her chest and those shoes are just odd.

    The best I can come up with is that at least she didn’t wear the fur/fringe petticoat with it.

    Wedges imitating stilettos – silly design.  These sky-high wedges that have the wearer on tippy-tippy toes look off and uncomfortable to walk in to me.  (Clomp, clomp, teeter)  I’d have preferred to see the stiletto sans the midsection.

    i’m surprised those shoes arent pierre hardy. i’m pretty sure he made something of an almost identical design w/in, say, the last seven years. not that other people havent made some similar in the same time period. just these & his seem more than a smidgen stiflingly close.

    i like the dress for everything other than that it forces focus upon that which one would never consider made from a type of rubber were they not, in this case, framed.

    Normally I’m not a big fan of cutouts (save perhaps when used in bathing suit coverups) but this is quite charming, and Lucy pulls off the look quite nicely.  The shoes are very clunky looking from the side (and must be wicked uncomfortable) although I don’t think she should have worn sandals or anything strappy to pull attention from the bodice.  Well done!

    I typically hate cut-outs but she’s making this work. I just looked up how much the clutch costs, though, and I need my smelling salts.

    That front cutout is just unseemly on a woman with breasts (sorry Liu, I know how it goes as I have quite the rack and many things become unseemly on me). Ladystars should also note that high-necked dressed that one cannot wear a bra with are a recipe for looking saggy. Only to be attempted by the very young/small-breasted.

    The dress is quite cute on the model but it’s not doing my Lucy justice, and that pains me.

    Even though she looks really great in this, and it all fits her beautifully; it just feels the tiniest bit too open or revealing there
    at the bust. I’m sure I’m the only one trying to figure out how to pinch that in just a little bit – but it probably won’t adjust.
    So it is what it is.  A really stunning dress for Lucy Lui.
