    I am never a fan of sequins/paillettes/other shiny ornaments on dresses because they almost always make the dress look cheap. This is what’s happening here; I actually like the dress itself. Well, okay, not the cloak-y thing, but the basic design and the color.

    Shoes are also nice. They’re the same color as the dress but don’t look weird, and the ankle straps don’t make her legs look chunky, but this could be because Cruz’s legs are awesome.

    Ditto on what halleygee said about the shower hair. What is going on with the hair? :)

    So, why does she want to look older? The color is drab and unflattering, does nothing to showcase what God gave her, but the hair is even more offensive. Ugh.

    the flap of hanging skin effect really detracts from the rest of the– outfit. yes, i guess it is an outfit. even though it looks like she’s wearing an amphibian w/ dermatological problems, one– shard, i guess, of which has escaped its belt.

    Now THAT’s a dopey dress. It looks like it should be old school elegant, but the drapey bit is very unflattering.

    Or maybe it’s quite flattering if one does not have a waist. But, Ms. Cruz does.

    This color is very difficult for some women to wear, including her.  The dress is cut so she looks fat, when we know she is not.  Bad dress choice for a beautiful woman.  Who was Michael Kors going to sell this lumpy fabric mess to?

    For such a beautiful woman, this dress really isn’t doing anything good for her. The drape off the one ‘boob’ looks like a sparkly
    milkshake waterfall. Sorry.  Anyway; the dress looks strangely boxy from this angle. The hair just doesn’t work for this formal
    attire, especially with those earrings.  I do love the shoes and clutch.
