Mischa Barton attends the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London wearing a Luisa Beccaria gown. She finished her look with Christian Louboutin shoes and a Bally ‘Ponga’ clutch.

    Should have kept the belt.  Should be holding the clutch and maybe picked it in some color?  Hair is tragic.  The overall look is alright… but could have been better.

    Wait a minute.  Mischa Barton?  Where the hell has she been?

    I love this look on the model. Mischa should have definitely kept the belt for some definition.

      Totally agree. The belt is a nice pop of bright that keeps the pale pastel dress from looking old fashioned. Which is why she should have left the pale, pastel bag at home and gone with something brighter. Tangerine, maybe?

    Much prefer it with the belt but I really love the colour generally. Her make up looks perfect I think.

    I have no use for her, the dress would have been better short, and I LOVE the clutch.  That is all.

      I thought the same except the model seems to be wearing the same shade of lipstick and it looks fine on her. So wrong color dress? Ditto shapeless without the belt.

        The model and Misha don’t have the same coloring. Mischa needs a red with blue undertones.

    She looks great. I’d just say she needs the belt, and maybe pick that cute clutch in some color of the same family? Hair and makeup are fab by me.

    I like both the dress, and the bag, just not together. The off pale tones of the two items fight, rather than compliment each other.  I would have gone with a stronger colored bag if I were her style fairy.

    In the pro column, this is probably one of the few sheer-opaque-sheer dresses I’ve liked. It also fits her well. On the con side, I don’t care for the color, that lipstick with it, or the purse with with it. Also, she should have worn the belt.

    Pulling off, barely, a difficult dress. Clutch should have been a bright color, that oyster white just looks dingy – I’d have gone with a brighter yellow, but then I’m “matchy matchy.”

    Visible panty lines in the back. Ageing makeup (she’s only 26). A shoulder bag with a gown. Odd gown/bag color combination. This isn’t great, but she’s moving in the right direction.

    Love the dress on the model; hate it on Mischa.

    Really like the way the model’s wearing it.  The purse is nice; but it doesn’t go and detracts from the dress.
    It’s also a few inches too long; giving the impression that the fabric is all stretched out.
     Glad it’s light and wispy without being see through.

    Dingy curtain ghost. Sadly enough, she looks a lot better than usual, though that lipstick color is horrific on her. Should have kept the belt and gone for a brighter purse. This dress would flatter her more in a rosy-tone.

    Makes her hips look extra wide without the belt, but otherwise I think the dress is nice. Hate the lipstick!

    She is a skinny girl and the dress makes her hips look huge.  I don’t know if the belt would have saved it.  I realize she is trying to go for the summer garden party look (which we do not have much of in the US), but that is the wrong dress for her.  I don’t care if it is free from a designer.  Give it back and wear something else, even from her own closet.  However, the purse is spectacular.  But no matter how much she bandies it about, it will not save the look.

    Is that tiny belt what makes it look so much different on the model? I find it ethereal and beautiful on the model and a whole lot of meh on Mischa.

    Wow, haven’t seen this girl in ages! Wonder where she’s been.
    She looks good in that dress, but I’m not sure the bag brings anything to the table. It’s just blah with that dress.

    Would have been better if she kept the belt.  I like the bag, but not with the strap.  Lipstick is too red.  But I really like the dress!

    I like the dress without the belt on her; hate the makeup; ditch the strap on the purse…. otherwise I think she looks great… love the summer dress at a summer event too!

    Clutch, not shoulder bad, lady.  I love that dress on the runway but it doesn’t look as chic on Mischa.  Lack of belt?  Sloppy hair?  Definitely the cluttery shoulder strap.
