I think the fuggirls have a tag for “People we don’t see out much” – Michelle needs one of those. She’s Michelle fucking Pfeiffer, and she is amazing, but that frock is unkind to boobs and possibly a little too youthful.

I agree, both on the fit problems and MP’s amazingness. Is she ever going to AGE?

    • EveEve

The model’s toes are positively freaking me out. I can’t see anything else. Does she have six toes?!

      • jmorino08

I should not have scrolled back up to see what you were talking about! WTF? That poor girl!

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Lucía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

Ditto… I SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE IT.

        • makeityourself

Ok, now you made me look too. That is hysterical! Readers, go back and check it out. I don’t think the House of Dior can be too happy about this.

      • kimmeister

Flyaway pinkies!  My husband has the same thing.  They literally cut holes into his shoes over time.  Totally freaky.

        • http://twitter.com/Goldielox73 Goldie

I’m not even sure that’s the problem.  I think the shoes are too small and they managed to get them on her because they were strappy shoes.  It looks painful whatever the issue.

      • AlexisPayne

That’s all I see!!! Totally freaking me out.

      • enchanted216

        OMG!  Freaky!

        • Coralie Legister

          Holy shit!

      • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

Add me to the list of freaked out people – what is the point, were the shoes made to force her toes out, or is that natural? (shudder….)

      • Rand Ortega

         WHOA!!!!

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

        OMG!!!  thanks for the nightmares.

  • kikisayshi

Nice dress but the fit is a little wonky.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2P2ANLRZ6YAVGONA36I2AQJYGI VicD

Regardless – Catherine Zeta Jones oughta take notes.

    • terekirkland

The waist looks lower on her than it does on the model. That would have tightened things up in the bodice, I think. She looks beautiful and healthy, though!

  • schadenfreudelicious

she looks amazing, but the fit of the bodice is all wrong, makes one of her girls look concave!

  • http://twitter.com/vicesbyproxy Shannon

She looks gorgeous. Nothing earth-shattering but she usually picks classy, age-appropriate looks and this is pretty standard for her. There’s something about her eye make-up that isn’t particularly flattering, maybe the shadow color.

Off-topic but did anyone else notice the feet of the model in the Dior runway show?? I know it’s common that models can be stuck with shoes that don’t fit in the last minute shuffle and she was only on the runway for a few minutes, but Jesus, I’m amazed she didn’t leave a toe behind! That’s all I can see now.

    • Spreecord

Oh my god. What is seen cannot be unseen.

      • Scarlet39

Her feet in those shoes are testing my gag reflex.

    • JasmineAM

That was the first thing I noticed! I let out a loud “WTF?”. They are literally touching the floor. Poor girl. These are expensive brands, yet they can’t afford to find the models fitting shoes.

    • NC_Meg

Oh my gosh! Just looking at that makes my feet hurt.

    • http://twitter.com/MandySCG MandyJane

Oh god, that’s awful. I noticed that right away. Poor thing.

    • MilaXX

oh gross. that’s some serious monkey toes going on.

    • mjude

omg…thanks for pointing that out.  laughing my ass off.  seriously how in the hell could you even walk?

    • understateddiva

That model is my new hero!  That is one amazing poker face.

    • alyce1213

Great I had to go back and look. Now I’m gonna have nightmares about those toes sticking out like that.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

    Gosh she’s pretty.

  • Spreecord

    Looking pretty good there, Midge.

  • holdmewhileimnaked

best she’s looked in a long time. & she’s thin enough so all that messy extraneousness at the midsection doesnt even detract. on almost anyone else it would–it would look like whoever was wearing it for some reason had a sheet sort of bunched up under there. not here. i understand the shoe complaints, but to me theyre nothing more nor less than simply dull.

  • formerlyAnon

She looks good. The dress is cute. As combined, it’s way less than a dress that expensive on a woman that good-looking ought to be.

She looks like a fairly stylish high school teacher in her “date” dress.

And she needs a slip or some underpinnings to bell out the skirt a bit.

    • http://www.GiftedCollector.com Nancy Abrams

Agree about the slip. She seems to be having a static cling moment.

      • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

I think its windy – look at her hair in all the pix, too.

  • Sara__B

Such a good-looking woman and such a pretty dress, yet she looks sort of drab and ordinary. Did this need a pop of color? More interesting shoes? Better fit and a slip? A lovely piece of jewelry? I’m with formerlyAnon – she looks more like a stylish teacher on a date than a legendary movie star in expensive designer clothes.

    • http://profiles.google.com/gillianholroyd gillian holroyd

Agree that color is not doing her any favors.

    • 3boysful

While I adore her, I think her hair and skin colors are starting to merge.  Even though she has always been a gorgeous blond, perhaps she needs to take the hair down a shade or two.  I may have noticed this phenomenon as I–I mean other women–age.

  • NurseEllen

She’s always been one of the most gorgeous women in film and she’s still right up there.  BUT, not so much in this dress.  I think gray is hard for blondes to pull off in general.  Maybe a belt?  And I don’t care for the shoes, they’re just so “safe”.  But she looks happy!

    • MilaXX

I think it’s black/white stripe but reads gray on camera.

  • nancylee61

It’s hard to look at her dress, when I am so distracted by something weird she did to her face? Not good.

    • mommyca

I agree: her face looks “different”, but it doesn’t seem she got any procedure, maybe it’s just her age is showing?

  • MilaXX

She looks good. It’s a pretty look, but not too fussy or aging.

  • http://twitter.com/SparklyCasanova UglyCasanova

I guess this is the reason why you created the Whiteboard area …

  • guest2visits

I like this dress, but Michelle may be even tinnier and skinnier than the model. The waist and the neckline need adjustment.
She looks unsure and shy in her pose. But she’s very beautiful and I like the shoes, clutch and earrings.

    • aesteve212

agreed! I really like the overall look (maybe too informal looking for an expensive dress but I love MP so I’m willing to say – ti’s great) but the waist looks big on her.

  • Lina_bee

Oh, Dior, the drape of this dress is so STRANGE. I imagine there’s a certain way to fold (and tape) it so it’s flattering on certain figures, but I kinda doubt you included an instruction booklet. Also, the model’s pinky toes in the runway shot are completely distracting.

    • LambeeBaby

So gross! The model looks like her toes are broken.

  • nannypoo

This is a very beautiful woman in a very unflattering dress.

  • TieDye64

Eh, it’s decent. The bodice doesn’t fit so well. Face looks great.

  • belfebe

It probably needs a belt, but even then I’m not sure.  Girl, you’re Michelle Pfeiffer.  You can do better than that.  No go get yourself some gays and try again.  We luv you.

  • TSkot

If she weren’t standing so awkwardly, she’d look dynamite.

  • jmorino08

She is so gorgeous! But there’s something not quite right about that dress. Too much going on in the midsection or something…

  • ThaliaMenninger

I find that color so washed-out on her. And the shape just looks awkward.

  • marilyn

I generally think she is gorgeous, but his dress doesn’t do much for her, and she needs to touch up her roots.

  • MK03

This is exactly why I hate arbitrary ruching. This right here. Nothing else can turn a designer dress into a sloppy pile of crap that looks like a middle school home ec project.

  • RzYoung

God I love her SO much, she’s my hands-down favourite actress I think, so darn graceful and she doesn’t need to answer to anyone.

  • alyce1213

Luv huh, luv the dress.  Looks like fun to wear.

  • QuincyTKatz

Are people like us OR Do people like us?
Hate the trend of poor grammer in titles…

  • http://twitter.com/kerrymccombs Kerry McCombs

I love her. I will never ever stop wanting to be Stephanie Zinone. I’m still looking for my Cool Rider.

  • melanie0866

    Frumpy.

  • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

Real fit problems with the dress, and it looks sloppy because of that.  I’d love to see it on someone with a little more meat on their bones.  But MP is beautiful, classy, and still wows.  On the other hand, thank you to EveEve for pointing out the incredibly creepy model toes, which will give me nightmares for weeks!

  • piecesofconfetti

Hair and face -  lovely. Dress -  meh.

  • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

lovely frock.  the color washes her out a bit, but it does set off her beautiful grey eyes.
