Hm. I kinda love it, though I wish she’d added some color with the jewelry or clutch.

  • greyhoundgirl

I am not a fan of Barbie feet.

  • Jennifer L.

Those shoes might have been good on paper, but in real life they are tacky bombs.

  • janedonuts

She looks better than she has in a long time, but I would have loved to see the back of this thing. What is with all the illusion netting lately?

  • MilaXX

As pretty as that shoe is, I don’t like it with this dress.

  • http://profiles.google.com/sara.e.munoz Sara Munoz

… But how do the tats look??

  • crash1212

I might be on board with this look if that dress had a real back instead of that netting nonsense. Seriously…WTF?

PS: I like Miss Mena’s hair.

She looks fab. Great hair, and the dress suits her quite well. She has lovely arms, too. The shoes=so-so.

I find this kinda boring…. anyone else?

  • belfebe

I’m not sold on the shoes, but she looks gorgeous.

  • Lisa Dugan

She looks beautiful but it does look like she may tip forward at any moment.  Is it the shoes, her posture, or the lack of a back of the dress? Not sure.

  • Violina23

The more I look at it, the more I find about it that I don’t like

  • nannypoo

And now for a triple axel…

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Those ankle straps are too high/wide, but to my surprise I feel like she’s working the rest of the look. I like how the loose sweep of the hair echoes the feel of that skirt. Wish she had a big bold bangle or cuff, because this is a rather naked look.

  • sashaychante

Ice Capades.  That clutch is ugly.

  • jw_ny

Mena looks very pretty..hair/makeup good.  The dress..like it from front, fits well and her tits look good.  I don’t like the side…how the black fabric of the bodice meets up with her waist…too abrupt.  Shoes…even tho they have big ass bows, I kind of like them here paired with this dress.

  • schadenfreudelicious

is there some kind of run on illusion netting that i am not aware of???

  • AlexisPayne

I like it though it does have a dance/skater costume vibe

  • mhleta

Beautiful woman, she’s working the dress, but those shoes aren’t for her. They cut off the line and make her legs look short and clubby.

  • Lina_bee

OMG no. Stumpifying shoes, awkward dress that even looks terrible on the model (as everyone else we’ve seen wearing Hohan this spring/summer), and soccer mom hair. Fail.

  • jmorino08

    Total figure skating costume.

  • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

Definite scrolldown. Those shoes are insane.
Also: illusion netting. Seriously, what does it add to the dress? This designer keeps doing it and SHE MUST BE STOPPED.
Her hair is really cute like that, though.

  • holdmewhileimnaked

i’m probably the only person here who kinda sorta likes the dress. but not in black, in a color. the black makes it too heavy & too confusing–a confusion only made more visible & extreme by them ludicrous bowbacks. damn, those shoes would be nice sans their curtain pulls.

  • melanie0866

    Ice dancing.

    • Sara__B

       Or Dancing with the Stars.

  • marilyn

Stunning dress.  It is intended to be a showstopper, as in how in the world does the top stay up.  Good overall look.  I don’t care about the shoes because the dress is so basic.  The shoes are odd, but in a restrained way.  This works, unless the illusion netting across the back is too obvious.

  • kikisayshi

    Meh.

  • bellafigura1

Those shoes make my eyes water.  Ouchie.

  • quiltrx

I don’t think this is exactly anyone’s dress, but she’s definitely working it as well as anyone could.  Very cool shoes.

  • Lilak

Rilly tacky dress.  And those shoes only work with long legs and racehorse ankles … which, alas, too few of us have.

    • Sally Brownson

Agreed. I’d love to try those shoes on, but I have a feeling they’d do the same thing to me that they’re doing to her: making her perfectly fine legs look chunky.

  • TieDye64

    The shoes need to die.

  • RzYoung

Interesting, I like her a lot

  • guest2visits

I shouldn’t, but I love it – head to toe.  She’s so tiny; the dress looks like weightless air on her, no saggy-ness.
Wicked, boss shoes.  (take that 70′s vernacular)

  • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

beautiful.  wish she had gone for the green, though.  so over black, myself.  i’ve loved mena ever since she played claire’s lesbian girlfriend on six feet under.

  • http://twitter.com/meredeth_gwyn Meri

Fab dress, she has a petite figure which is right for it. On the other hand, bit too much shoe for this. Great bag.

  • Isana Leshchinskaya

     cute from the knees up

  • Coralie Legister

The bows on the back of the shoes are too much but I like the rest.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Paige-Boerman/670140590 Paige Boerman

Shoes are horrible, the rest is fine, if boring.
