Sleeves are too long. I like the lining in Michele’s better than on the model, but that’s way too much dress with her hair down with the heavy bangs.

  • thecitysleeps

That print is right out of my grandma’s nightdress.  So ugly. The hair is horrible and her try hard sexy face and clashing lips, worse.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396777506 Christin Pardy-Nosenchuk

it looks like a refashioned nightgown.

  • http://twitter.com/PlanetSandisan Sandisan

That face is killing me dead!!!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  She looks about 50 and that’s not good.

  • http://bootlovers.typepad.com/Booted_Up Teri Horne

    It’s wallpaper in dress form.

  • parfumpoise

Dear God everything is wrong. The dress, the print, the fit, the hair, the make-up. Everything. The only redeemable factor is that we can’t see her uterus and/or her boobs for the first time in a while.

    • kimmeister

I know, I was like, “NOT of course!”

      • http://profiles.google.com/sara.e.munoz Sara Munoz

        Until she turns around….

  • Kyle Crawford

speechless…..  ALMOST Tina Fey Met Gala 2010 bad….

  • moppet

Those bangs are not very flattering. She really has a cute face that is half-hidden.

I can’t say that I love the long sleeves, but I can understand the nod to “modesty” when you have such a deep plunge in the back. This is not going to go down as one of my favorite dresses, though.

  • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

Yech. Not good on the model, not good on her, and in fact probably not good on anyone. I bet even Iman couldn’t make this hot mess of a grandma’s nightgown sing.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1248212910 Jessie Melcher Brown

Iman would have the good taste to take one look at it and say “no darling” and wear something else.

  • DeborahJozayt

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should…

  • cam_lo

just like TLo will never OK mermaid hair, i will never OK floral prints. i have yet to see one look anything remotely close to good.

  • ChaCha_70

    Bangs R Us

  • Allison Woods

    Girl, that’s not your dress.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2P2ANLRZ6YAVGONA36I2AQJYGI VicD

For one, she’s about 12″ too short to carry that off

  • mjude

whats tlo usually say about her?   of course!

  • http://twitter.com/nicole_sauvage Nicole Sauvage

With adequate tailoring (even on the runway it looks bunchy), a different color scheme (Suburban Master Bath ca. 1983 is not working), and a ponytail holder for Lea, this might have been a really cool look.

I feel horribly OLD when I grumble about celebrities (or anyone) needing to pull their hair back off their faces, but seriously!  Pull your hair back!  A nice updo improves practically any long dress, IMO.

    • janetjb

      Love.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Could not agree more.  Hair worn long, with a long dress, most often pulls the eye down, and sends it on a trip to the floor.

  • littlemac8

    Curtains and curtains!!!!

  • chelwi

I knew something wasn’t right when I saw the front of this dress and it didn’t expose anything, but then she turned. Of course.

    • janetjb

My thoughts: Where’s the skin?  How can I say “of course”?  Oh, that’s how.
      Of course.

    • VioletFem

Right, because if she shows ANY skin at all then she’s dressing slutty right?

      • chelwi

Uh, what? Where did I say or imply she was slutty? She just likes to show skin and I thought it strange it looked like she wasn’t showing any. Doesn’t make her slutty; it’s just her style preference. Take your vendetta elsewhere, please.

        • VioletFem

Didn’t mean for my comment to sound so hyperbolic but I find that people are weirdly judgmental of her. The way I see it she bares no more skin than most up and coming starlets.

          • Tigrrl

Is that you Lea? Just kidding, but I think it’s just that she always goes for SEXY, rather than sexy or Sexy, and because she’s trying so hard it gets annoying, like with any starlet.

          • VioletFem

Seriously, I’m not a huge fan of her or anything and I do agree that she is in bit of a style rut, this outfit not withstanding, but I just found the comments on this page to be a little bit incongruous compared to what most starlets dress like. Also, I know this is a minority opinion but I like that she at leasts puts an effort into looking put together on the red carpet and looks genuinely happy to be there (unlike say K-Stew).

  • Violina23

I had to scroll down WAY too far for the first “Of Course”

Comeon, bitter kittens, I know it’s Monday, but wake up! ;-)

  • http://twitter.com/MandySCG MandyJane

I kinda like the dress, but the lipstick is too pink.

  • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

For me this particular fail is all about the atrocious print, which looks distressingly like, As a med professional bud of mine says, “reverse peristalsis”

  • dickylarue

There’s got to be a morning after…If we can hold on through the night…

  • gsk241

Her wig is so embarrassed for her it is trying to slide forward and cover her face.

  • nannypoo

Ugly print and a bad fit. It’s hideous. I am one of the many Bitter Kittens who can’t stand her, and I can’t stand her even more in this dress.

  • VicksieDo

Are those clip in bangs?  ::laughs::

  • Lilithcat

Hair up and the sleeves shortened and she’d be fine.

  • melanie0866

That’s a beautiful dress, but her hair is too dark and heavy for it.  With an updo it would be prettier.

  • TieDye64

The bad fit makes this 1980′s upholstery dress even uglier. And there’s an arrow pointing to her ass.

  • MilaXX

OUT She looks like what’s the muppet? Janis? The blonde muppet in Animal’s band? Hair is too heavy and the Morticia in the front, party in the back look is over powering on her small frame.

  • emcat8

Oh Lea, how can we ever miss you if you won’t go away?

  • PeggyOC

Horrible on every front.  Terrible dress, awful hair and makeup (she looks like an Old English Shepard, peeking out from all that hair), and then the unnecessary and ill-fitting sexy-back attempt.  Bleargh.

  • MzzPants

Good God, she’s starting to look like Paz De La Huerta.  Somebody shoot her with a tranquilizer before she hurts herself.

  • allisankelly

Hate those heavy curtain bangs. The dress looks too big everywhere to me, not just in the sleeves. Throw it back for something else, hon.

  • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

OK, it’s getting a little weird in here. I totally thought that was Jessica Biel.  I’m not sure which one should be offended.

  • Lina_bee

Jesus wept. NO. The dress is horrible and ugly. The hair and makeup are terrible. The pose is laughable — to the point where I would feel tempted to actually point and laugh. Also, does the back of the dress actually need an arrow pointing up her bum??  There is no good here, none at all.

  • TheOriginalLulu

What’s with the Cousin It hair?

  • Sara__B

Her hair and her gown are both too big for her.

  • SpcilK

    The Pose, WHY!!!!!!

  • marilyn

She is a beautiful woman and that is a homely dress.  Too bad.

  • kikisayshi

    blech.

  • schadenfreudelicious

in that first shot she looks like she is about ready to flex for her Hulk pose….

  • Beth G

The back is a big arrow pointing to her ass……

  • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

As soon as I saw the front, I KNEW that her back would be naked. That said, it is a striking dress, though I’m not crazy about the old-bedsheets print.

  • clairellis

First picture: oh, shit no cleavage or leg. Second picture: of course.

There was another shot of her with 2 other ladies (the girl from The Sopranos and another lady, sorry bad with names) where they were facing the camer and she had the same pose from the last picture and my thought was ‘attention whore’

  • VioletFem

This dress would look better if it fit her better and if the pattern used for the fabric was something prettier.

  • Vlasta Bubinka

    Dear Lea,
Your dress has an ass arrow. The fabric looks like my grannie’s patio couch from 1983. And your bangs are eating your face.

  • Lisa Dugan

Almost.  The sleeves seems a smidge too long and her face is 5 shades too orange but it’s kinda sorta working otherwise.  Props for her boobs looking much more supported than the model’s.

  • jmorino08

She just needs to go away for a little while….

  • AlexisPayne

    Of course.

  • http://twitter.com/msjwatt J.Watt

Her best Kim K drag to date.

  • http://twitter.com/lenabena_ Elena

I can’t objectively critique Lea on the RC because whenever I see her stupid posing and pouty faces, no matter how great her dress is, I just roll my eyes.

  • http://twitter.com/SparklyCasanova UglyCasanova

No.  No wearing curtains from the 80′s.

  • Onika K Morris-Alleyne

I looked at the first photo and thought ‘It’s probably backless’, and then BOOM second photo, yep, backless. Of course.

  • Charmella

Print reminds me of an vintage peignoir…yes, I was a bridal lingerie buyer in my former life!

Plus she needs, on occasion, to get rid of those bangs and curtain of hair.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

God, I’m so tired of her.

The dress looks awesome on the model, but doesn’t fit Lea quite so well. And her bangs desperately need a trim.

  • http://profiles.google.com/hawkeye1978 Kristin Hanson

I hate this look so much I am at a loss for words.

  • quiltrx

With the dress and the hair all hanging down, down, down, this is kind of sad-looking.  And it looks cheap.

  • Sally Brownson

For once, I wish Lea were wearing a minidress version of this.

  • RzYoung

    Cousin It in a dress

  • http://twitter.com/grooxcore Marie Ee

    sassy vintage curtain.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

Get rid of those damn heavy bangs.  And all your ideas of what you think fashion is, and what you look good in.

  • http://twitter.com/katshimmers Kat Wright

Can someone just PLEASE sort her out!!?!?!?!

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/J2VE4NE2FY2BP4QD2XOYKJGLPI Laura

    ….the hell?

  • guest2visits

    I’m torn between liking and hating this girl’s heavy duty bangs. In this case; it looks like she’s going to a slumber party;
in a long flowery night gown and loose hair hanging down.  The dress doesn’t look any better on the model.

  • LambeeBaby

That hair makes her look a lot like Joe Manganiello

  • LambeeBaby

That hair makes her look a lot like Joe Manganiello

  • CQAussie

I was gonna say this is ok but then she turned around.  Just once I’d love to see her without excessive skin showing.  Is that too much to ask?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1241487378 Lauren Lynch Fox

    Not feeling gleeful….

  • http://twitter.com/hurricaneemilyy Emily Shaver

I might like this if her hair wasn’t such a disaster

  • Aurumgirl

You gotta be kidding. The pink fabric between the “patches” is illusion netting, and therefore wholly unnecessary.

  • rissa42210

    HATE

  • Coralie Legister

Why is it so big? She looks like she has shoulder pads in there.
