Damn. That model OWNS that dress. She is WERQing that thing like it owes her money. It just doesn’t sit right on Kristen.

    • TheOriginalLulu

Agreed. Is it even the same color as the model’s? Kristen’s looks yellow.
Either way, though, those aren’t the colors she should be going for.

    • jmorino08

Something tells me only someone with a body like that model could pull it off. Add in even the slightest curve and it immediately gets frumpy and fluffy.

  • crash1212

Maybe if it was really lime green in Kristen I might like it better. Might be my screen, but it reads off white. Even so, I think she looks pretty cute in this. Easy breezy – love the hair and makeup.

    • Nonnah

On my screen, it’s the same color as her hair.  And still doesn’t look good.

All she needs are fairy wings to complete this tinkerbellesque ensemble.

  • jw_ny

    cute. effortless. fresh.

  • AlexisPayne

    Not quite

  • Anathema_Device

No, not loving this on her. It is making her look thick, and that is a crime.

  • CarolinLA

Of course it’s irrational, but she bugs the shit out of me.

  • allisankelly

The dress is too small…lining’s too tight and the floaty stuff doesn’t lay right. Lemon Sorbet in a dress, it could be a refreshing look. Good makeup and hair, though.

This is depressing because that side shot looks so cute! I she looks like spring personified. Persephone? Do I have my Greeks right? Anyway, from the side, she looks like sunshine. Then she turns head on and it looks like she’s trying to be an ice dancer in the summer Olympics. Which doesn’t work out in either sense.

    *Yawn.*

  • Lina_bee

That pastel yellow suits her beautifully, but the skirt is pure ice skater territory. Basically, totally her color but not remotely her dress.

  • Sara__B

I’m not crazy about the hair, makeup, or dress. She looks about 13, and with different shoes, ready for the fairy ballet in her dance recital.

  • CassieLee22

she looks super cute but the the skirt….idk

  • Sophie Collier

Not on you, Snow White.  The fit it fine, but all the delicate detail is lost against her pale skin.  That dress in a color, yes.  That dress on a girl of color, yes.

Way too cutesy for this kind of event. This is a teen choice awards kind of dress.

    • amf0001

i suddenly realized I didn’t know what the event was,  all that registered with me was ‘snickers’

  • MilaXX

Eh’ it’s okay but that’s not really a good color on her.

    Nightgown.

I feel like there’s one too many ruffles or layers on this dress, but I kind of like it on Kristen. Would’ve been better in a brighter color though.

  • TSkot

Do you think she tried to match the dress to her hair, or her hair to the dress?

  • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

Too washed out, the pale yellow just blends in with her skin and hair. I love the idea of the dress, definitely a very spring and pretty feel to it. The green MIGHT look better, but after comparing with the model, DAMN. The minty green just pops beautiful against the model’s skin.

  • guest2visits

Looks like Kristen is wearing lemon, not lime.  It’s pretty on her but I like the greener shade better.
There’s a flat piece of fabric right there at the hips that hurts the design on both model and Kristen.

  • Judy_S

She is pretty here but the dress looks like it was made from curtains. I guess a girl wants to feel fluffy sometimes.

  • mshesterp

I quite like it–I would’ve loved it in a bolder color, but in general, it’s inoffensive. Damning with faint praise, I know.  It’s a wee bit ice skater, but I’ll allow it. Love the beach hair and the interesting neckline.

  • marilyn

Aside from the color, her hair is all wrong.  The dress is flowy, and the hair should be a contrast, as with the runway model.  Wrong color and too messy.

  • kimmeister

Those Jimmy Choos are making the rounds!  We’ve seen the black ones on Chloe, and I think it was Charlize who was wearing the silver ones just the other day.

Hair too beachy, dress color too non-descript (buttery yellow?), shoes too nude. I like the picture it paints, aside from the hair, but the colors needed to be pumped up.

  • belfebe

The color makes her look washed out.  Perhaps a belt would have helped.  She’s a pretty girl in a pretty dress, but it does nothing for her.

  • TieDye64

It’s lovely on the model, who’s tall and willowy and, well, walking. Maybe not the best for standing still for photos? The fit is all wrong on KB and ends up looking like a frumpy napkin dress.

  • LinXGUA

Are you black? Do you have dark hair? Then don’t use this dressssssss!!!!

Cute. Could use different colored shoes.

  • Jennifer Hofstetter

Love her, but no. The dress is tragic.

    Way too little-girl-ish for me.
