    Nice look for an afternoon backyard party…not so much for a RC movie event.  If only she’d worn it in the pants version…it’d been close to perfect.  I’d probably even be fine if she added 4-6 inches of length to the shorts for this event.  As is…kind of hoochie.

    Love how soft she looks with her hair down. Overall, I don’t get behind overalls, but she looks good.

       This outfit is a romper at best, not overalls. Overalls have straps and are worn over something (we hope) and have open sides.

    Dare I say, this is almost working, but not quite. The long pant would have helped a lot. As is, she’s a square who’s dressed for the wrong event.

    Call me crazy but I like it.  I like the alteration too… I think that makes it more playful and cartoon-friendly (I mean, please, she’s still at an RC event in New York, it’s not like she showed up to PTA meeting in it).   And she’s got the legs for it, despite whatever odd camera trick is making her look deformed in the last pic.  She just needs to stop facing the photog square on, because from an angle it looks less boxy.  That self-belt thing even hits the model weirdly IMO.

    I kinda disagree with the consensus.

    I agree that a short-shorts strapless jumpsuit is not really a clothing item needed in the universe, not really ever appropriate except if trying to evoke thoughts of a woman “on the stroll,” and one that puts almost anyone and definitely everyone over 30 into the category of “trying too hard.” 

    And this one fits kinda odd in the crotch/hips.

    And yet. She looks relaxed, the color is marvelous on her and the razor edged strain she’s usually projecting seems absent.

    In theory all wrong, in practice, not so bad. She trumps the outfit.

    I think this look works on her because she is a “hard body.” There’s not going to be any of that messy jiggling or spilling out of either end. On someone like Zooey Deschanel or even Scarlet Johansen, this would go into baby prostitute territory, but on Ms. PS it’s sporty but womanly and fun.

    I’ll be honest: if I had her figure, I’d buy this (without the flower) and wear it to my high school reunion.

    I think this is supposed to look fun and chic; but it doesn’t really do much for her figure, – it makes it a little boxy.
    And it sort of looks like she’s wearing  a child’s outfit. I don’t like jumpers, but the long leg version would have looked nicer on her.
    Still; it looks like she’s smiling and that always helps.

    She should keep her hands out of the pockets, get an inch or so on the legs, and belt this thing (oh, and wear it to a beach party, not a red carpet). On second thought, send it to Katy Perry. It’s not doing Jada’s figure any favors from the front.

    i like it better as pants, and this isnt great, but its jada so she doesnt look bad at all, but thats mostly cause of the lady not the short jumpsuit thing

    No.  The top is too dressy for a shortie romper.  It just looks silly.  You really need an hourglass figure for certain designs.  This one makes the average woman look blocky.
