That dress is GREAT on her. Seriously perfect: flattering, easy, eye-catching.

As for the shoes, it looks like someone saw the photo of the model and decided to replicate the styling but for summer. Not sure how I feel about them.

I like them separately, but I think they’re fighting with the pattern on the dress. Overall it’s not a bad look though.

Love the shoes. the rest is… boring.

  • Sobaika

I don’t about the shoes but I think she got her earrings at Claire’s.

  • crash1212

Cute dress. I love the styling on the model. As for the shoes on Missy Blake here…I like the shoes, just not too sure I like them with this dress. I see what she was going for, just not sure she got there.

  • lilibetp

The shoes are really cute.  For an LBD.  Not for this romper.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

The dress is adorable, though the shoes are all wrong for it.

  • ConnieBV

I just have to say for the record that I really hate whiteboard posts. I want to hear TLo’s opinion on a lot of the stuff that gets put in this category, and is it just me or are the whiteboard posts outnumbering the regular posts? Does it just seem that way?

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_64HSRZWCSJ5RBFGCWDLFQOICYM G

We all love to hear their opinions, but I my guess is they just don’t have enough time to search, create, write and read what we write, hence the birth of the whiteboard.  Kind of fun I think.

    • MilaXX

I like them. I feels like BK school to see if we’ve learned our lessons. I think we get so many because they don’t have to write a narrative.

    • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

There are twice as many front posts every day than there are whiteboard posts and just as many front board posts every day as there were before the whiteboard was launched. So basically, you’re complaining that we’re providing extra content to you every day; just not the kind of extra content YOU want from us.

Skip the whiteboard posts. No one is forcing you to look at them. We’re going to start deleting comments to this effect.

      • http://www.GiftedCollector.com Nancy Abrams

I for one am enjoying the Whiteboard posts. As I scroll down through the pictures, I can virtually hear your comments. Not that you’re predictable, mind you, but we have read so many that we can just imagine what you’re thinking.

  • allisankelly

I seriously hate when she looks this cute! Her hair seems an afterthought as usual, but overall looks good.

    I covet those shoes.

  • jmorino08

Is that a romper? It’s a romper isn’t it? I want to know who decided grown ass women should be wearing rompers because that shit be cray cray!

    • http://twitter.com/bredalot Bridget Smith

It’s not, I’m pretty sure, judging by the caption and the picture of the model. It’s a dress with a ruffle that got caught between her legs.

      • jmorino08

         I missed the caption. Thanks.

        • amf0001

but the fact that we had to look twice,  that we could mistake it for a romper,  says it’s all wrong to me…  It makes this super thin girl look a bit chunky on her thighs,  so while the top is great,  from the waist down it’s a no for me.

  • Jessica Rowe

    TEEN WITCH

  • Lisa Dugan

    I actually think it’s adorable.

  • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

Yay the shoes, yay the dress, boo the two together.

  • TieDye64

The dress is cute enough, good style for her. LOVE the freaking shoes! They’d be better paired with a different outfit, but I think they’re killah!

  • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

I know I shouldn’t love these two very bold patterns together, but I do.

    • turtleemily

I love them together, too. I think if the dress were any longer, it wouldn’t work.

  • belfebe

Cute!  The shoes don’t go, but she looks cute all the same.

  • kimmeister

The dress is cute, although I would prefer it a skosh longer.  Do not like the shoes at all, with this outfit or any other.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-Chase/731391326 Julie Chase

    Crazy adorable.

  • http://twitter.com/sillytwigg twigg

I think this is one of her best looks. Yes, the prints clash. But she’s usually so over styled and this is cute and sexy without being slutty.

  • http://twitter.com/Kathy_Marlow Kathy Marlow

Everything looks great until you get to the shoes..then the record scratches, the room goes silent and everyone turns away from her in shame

  • Pennymac

Not wild about the dress, but adore the shoes. I wonder why?

    • holdmewhileimnaked

cos nicholas kirkwood can pretty much do no wrong, at least shoewise?

      • Pennymac

YES! What should I wear them with when I go out with Norman Reedus on my dream date?

    • Sara__B

I know why I don’t like the dress. It’s stuck between her legs so it looks like rompers, and even if it weren’t, it’s still very “picnic at the park”. Those shoes? Crazy and fabulous and flattering.

  • holdmewhileimnaked

like the dress on the model, dont like it on the actress–but i dont think thats the fault of the wearer. the fabric looks very different in the cleverly posed fashion shot. on the actress it looks too heavy, almost like a brocade sans brocade. i know that makes no sense. okay, try again: like a built in not built out brocade. & boy i hate brocade. dress also seems to require a sweater to cut down its endless tealness. cos if theres anything i like less than brocade, it’s teal. great shoes. the end.

  • Lina_bee

Huh. Well, it’s very 1992, but she’s working it.  The shoes are just a little too on the nose in terms of the print, but I appreciate the pop of red. And they are sort of great shoes. Definitely nice to see her looking so effortless for once. There’s no sense of trying too hard this time.

  • MilaXX

    Cute jumper, wrong shoe.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Cute! Her Boobs are put away and she is showing an entirely reasonable amount of her Legslies. Not quite sure the busy shoe is complimenting the busy of the dress.  Which 10th grader’s jewelry did she steal (says the commenter who often wears jewelry just like that)?

  • Amy Ellinger

BRAVA!!  Love, love, love. Need the shoes, now!!

  • SapphoPoet

    Rompers are wrong.

  • ThaliaMenninger

I don’t like the cartoony shoes but the dress/romper/whatevertheheckitis looks very cute on her.

  • schadenfreudelicious

i know it’s a dress but it wears like a ruffly romper, and the shoes totally clash, so she needs to start over on this one….

  • alyce1213

The little bitty print dress and these shoes do not go together.
The dress is ordinary, maybe even ugly, so I go with the shoes, which are head-turners.

  • http://www.facebook.com/ali.sharpe.6 Ali Sharpe

Dress is nice, and then I scrolled down. Patterns are majorly clash-y.

  • guest2visits

    Ugh.

  • Warrior89

super unflattering dress, and she still looks gorgeous.  And I want her hair.

  • RzYoung

Super cute, I could live without the bangles though. Love the shoes.

  • Ezmartin

The way the dress is tucking beneath her legs makes it look like a poorly fit romper. Not attractive. Shoes r great. But don’t go.

  • clairellis

The shoes don’t match at all. But she looks cute. The shoes with something else would look good.

  • siriuslover

eh, it’s cute, but the way the skirt hangs on her makes it look like a shorts suit, and I don’t like that.

  • Lilak

That near-romper thing + those shoes = Way to go and stumpify yourself, long-legged person!

  • shawnhunter

oh wow i actually really like this. and the shoes are AWESOME, but i don’t know if they go with the dress. i don’t think it ruins the look though.

  • formerlyAnon

Very few people would look as good as that in that dress, and the shoes are somewhere between interesting and great.

But maybe I just am looking for something she doesn’t do, but I’m never really *impressed* by her. For someone who’s supposed to be into fashion, you’d think “oh, that’s kind of cute”  wouldn’t be the best reaction I ever have.

  • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

Not sure the shoes go (although they’re pretty fabulous on their own), but this is a cute outfit! Blake, you did something right!!!!

  • tereliz

Cute shoes. Cute dress. Just not together.

  • http://twitter.com/kerrymccombs Kerry McCombs

    Love it.

  • http://twitter.com/nonchalantanna Anna

Those shoes are ruining a perfectly cute outfit.
