    Judith Chapman FTW. All the rest look like cookie cutters of each other…save for Ms. Allred, who looks like she put on a shorty robe over her pants. Something within me shrieks every time I see some sashy-belted-tied jacket…unless you’re in a karate uniform – then it’s OK, but just barely.

    Surprisingly, on I’m board with half of these.  I think Deirdre Hall looks great, and I’m shocked to say so does Lisa Rinna (besides the makeup).  And Giada’s dress is cute.  Not digging the comeback of the spaghetti-strapped negligee gown, though.

       Totally agree, these 3 ladies look way better than I would expect for Daytime Emmys.  Esp. Lisa Rinna, who (whom?) I always assume is going to look as trash-plastic as possible.

      Catherine Bach especially!  Looks like the generational Daisy Dukes need industrial strength bras.  Jessica Simpson is nursing, but they DO make superstructures to support that better than her recent pictures would lead one to believe.

    Jen Lilley–your dress is too tight.  Elizabeth Hendrickson–I don’t want to see your nipples.  Everyone else–various degrees of okay.  I like that there are big women (regular sized, that is) hitting the red carpet here, and agree with the comments about Judith Chapman.  Let’s have drinks.

    Everyone looks great.  It is interesting how ‘evening’ the daytime  Emmy show is.  Catherine Bach’s dress is a little tight through the middle, but she is stil passable.  They all know how to dress for this and all came through.

    Lisa Rinna looks like she’s had some reconstructive work done her face. She kind of looks like Jane Fonda. Deidre Hall definitely looks like she’s had work done.  Her face is so tight it hurts me to look at it! And Catherine Bach….my goodness!  She looks like 10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound sack.

    I don’t want my comment to just say “boring” because I will get you guys all in a tizzy. But these outfits are boring. Things like Daytime Emmys just don’t have any real celebs, and the clothes reflect that.

      She’s been on Days of Our Lives almost as long as Deirdre Hall. She was such a cute woman but she’s done terrible things to her face. In fact, she now looks a lot like Deirdre, which she did not when she was younger and natural.

    In terms of previous Daytime Emmy RCs, this is an improvement, but still sort of tragic.  Can they not afford professional stylists? Dare I type Lisa Rinna for the win?  Think I just did.

    Lisa Rinna actually looks good.  I’ve never seen that happen before.  No animal print, no crotch-skimming slit, and her face looks almost normal, instead of siliconed beyond all recognition.

    After posting these, T-Lo must have spent a good hour lying down with a cool rag to their heads.  Though some of the ladies do look great (Diedre, Giada, & Judith), there is some serious bad here. Apparently aging gracefully isn’t an option in the world of day-time tv.

    Yay for Judith Chapman – clutch, dress (based on what I can see of neckline) & scarf+sunglasses. The movie in her head must be a good one!

    Also yay for Gloria Allred. Pants must remain an option, or I will have to stay home when I am old.

    I do hope Catherine Bach’s friends don’t let her see the photos if her emotional state is anything other than rock solid.

    Tiffany Coyne, is that a Bond name? She’s very pretty.  Giada looks great, love her dress. Also Diedre Hall and Lisa Rinna.
    I don’t watch any of these people on TV.  Although these flimsy slip dresses are often very pretty (Elizabeth Hendrickson);
    I can’t help but cringe a little – I can only see them as appropriate for some kind of intimate dinner, mostly in the DARK.
    It would just be too embarrassing to wear something so sparse out and about.   Heidi….
