    Very pretty.

Beautiful.  I will say that the runway models lack of a liner adds a contrast to the embellishment on the gown. Too bad Vanessa couldn’t have found a lining that took the dress in that direction. Less bridal that way.

    Pretty dress…no figure.

  • HeatherMcIlrath

The dress makes her look like a sparkly roman column. too bad those don’t actually exist.

  • marilyn

I don’t like the see through runway version.  Are those granny panties I am seeing?  Yikes!  Not on the runway!

Vanessa’s dress looks too unshaped, as if it were a size too big.  She still is gorgeous, the color is right for her, her accessories worked well, and the beading on the dress is in an interesting pattern.

  • Sara__B

The lining hides the design of the fabric and makes the gown shapeless instead of figure-skimming. I’d prefer it with a lighter-weight lining that didn’t exactly match. That said, she looks very pretty. (Now if we could get her to ditch the giant platform clodhopper shoes…)

    • minnye

The model’s shoes are soooo pretty!

  • moppet

The dress isn’t giving her much of a waistline. Perhaps some alterations were in order?

Yawn, yawn, yawn.  The dress is far more appealing on the model yet I wouldn’t want to see Vanessa going for the sheer version.  So, am torn. Underwhelming look = nay.  Yet she could easily go wrong in so many ways by trying to make this look more exciting.  Better safe than sorry, I guess.

Pretty! Could use a little nip and tuck in at the waist though. Makes her look quite rectangular

  • Lina_bee

Cute but not great. I love that she’s not a size 0 and that she looks healthy and happy, but this dress needed some tailoring for her curves.

  • belfebe

The best she’s looked in a while. Needs to do something with her hair but that’s a minor quibble.

  • janetjb

It’s pretty, but somewhat boring which seems quite unfortunate.

  • SpcilK

Does nothing for her, except make he look boxy in the mid-section.  looks so much better on the model and her hair should be styled better.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I’m glad she had the lining added.

She looks very nice – she usually looks like a train wreck.

  • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

TAILORING. HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT.

Still, considering how she usually looks, this is a major improvement.

  • SusiePamudji

Enh kinda boring. Also it looks like it’s too big on her?

  • http://twitter.com/nonchalantanna Anna

Pretty, but it seems too grown up for her. This dress belongs to someone a little older, longer, and lankier.

  • holdmewhileimnaked

for heavens sake, she almost always looks bad. this is oceans & mountains & valleys & even whole skies above her regular.

  • nannypoo

It’s pretty but, really, all she had to do is put it on. There’s no evidence that she made any effort.

  • quiltrx

Perhaps the lining should have been another color.  You can’t see the details of the dress, which obviously are very beautiful in the model picture.  It also looks too big–nightgowny and shapeless–on Vanessa.

  • MilaXX

She’s not the greatest when it comes to dressing herself so I’ll be gentle. The hair and makeup look pretty good, but i think she’s too short for this.  She needs something to define her waist a bit more. Also really stylist? Silly putty platforms with this dress? NO. Almost there, but no quite.

  • guest2visits

It’s more flattering when it’s lined, like Vanessa is wearing. The underwear exposure on all the models isn’t such a treat.
She’s looking really pretty in this dress.

  • TieDye64

She looks good, and white is very pretty on her, but it’s a bit big. Her waist is lost in this.

  • MzzPants

    Beaded nighty.

  • Isana Leshchinskaya

girls has a beautiful curvaceous body, tiny waist, ample bosom, “birthing hips” to quote eva mendes. where are they? i’m not saying show up looking like lea michele, but seriously, they could have taken it in in a couple places to do her justice. otherwise it’s beautiful.

  • http://ymwlt.blogspot.co.uk/ Dawn Sinclair

    Erm, who stole her waist?

  • Qitkat

What a beautiful dress, but, and I normally wouldn’t say this, it looks better without the lining.

  • Allison Woods

Her face looks great, really pretty, but the dress is a bit of a sack on her.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

Wait….what?  Vanessa Hudgens is dressed appropriately and not like a homeless hippy?  I’m absolutely floored.  Keep it up girl.

  • http://twitter.com/Kathy_Marlow Kathy Marlow

It’s pretty, but the dress looks too big on her, no shape whatsoever in that thing

  • DinaSews

A big YAAAAWWWN from me.  Not worthy of TLo’s comments, barely worthy of a Whiteboard posting.

  • TheOriginalLulu

To me this is a Girl That’s Not Your Dress.
It’s a beautiful dress and she’s really cute, but it’s really not doing anything for her. She’s kind of shapeless in it.

  • SapphoPoet

    Pretty.

  • http://twitter.com/delysia_lafosse Delysia LaFosse

It’s a pretty dress, for sure, but the liner causes all that gorgeous beadwork to disappear, making it a lot less interesting than on the model. Hair and makeup both look especially half-assed, and that butterfly ring looks like something I would’ve worn in my hair in fifth grade. All in all, a pretty bland look.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-Chase/731391326 Julie Chase

    It’s shapeless. I don’t love it.

  • jmorino08

Pretty dress, but it looks like it’s a size too big. Also, needs more jewelry.

  • http://twitter.com/jennsaysmeow Fifi LaRoux

    It gives her no shape.

  • Jessica O’Connell

Pretty but it needs a necklace. Nice for her to dress her age/this decade for once!

  • http://twitter.com/katshimmers Kat Wright

    *yawn*

  • http://twitter.com/hurricaneemilyy Emily Shaver

Pretty, just not on you darling. Maybe it’s the lighting, but the way it’s photographed makes you look like you are wearing a sparkly burlap sack. The model is werq-ing it though so I’m gonna have to say, honey that is not your dress.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2P2ANLRZ6YAVGONA36I2AQJYGI VicD

My god, what an improvement over her usual “tragic hippy who was dragged by a horse”

  • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

VERY glad she wore a liner. This look is dying for some color, though, and I wish there was a bit of definition at the waist.

  • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

I can’t like her. Also, not her dress.

  • http://twitter.com/emilyf007 emily

The dress is pretty but it doesn’t flatter her shape (if she has one because I can’t tell with that dress). And on the model it looks more… flowy, and on Vanessa it looks really heavy.
