I’m not usually a fan of the ruffly skirt, but I like it here.  The dress fits well, and she looks happy to be wearing it.

Perfection. Love it, love her and “where are my dragons”???!!!!

  • chelwi

I feel like I should hate this dress, but it looks really good on her. It’s the hair I’m having problems with.

    • jmorino08

I feel the same way. I don’t want to like it but I can’t find a reason to dislike it on her. Agreed on the hair as well. Also, she needs more eye make up. Nothing heavy, but something so it doesn’t look like her eyes are receding back into her head

It is amazing how different she looks with a change of hair color.

And lipstick. I recognized her in the magazine spread posted yesterday, but I can barely tell that it’s her in these photos.

It seems to me like too much dress for her. And I hate the mermaid hair with it.  Up and back, and simpler might have saved this for me.  I do love the brownish black hue of the dress, though.

    • MilaXX

I’m not a fan of it, but I fear the mermaid hair, like silly putty pumps will be around for a while.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

        Say it ain’t so!

  • In_Stitches

The fabric looks so cheap, like Party City $3.99 generic ‘warlock cape’ cheap and she let it down further in the detailing.

  • AmandaCathleen

I wish this had a different neckline—something a little lower, perhaps? And I have to be honest, I’m not loving the hair/makeup. Hair looks too flat, like the DIY waves you get from sleeping in a braid. A look I love for day to day, sure, but on the red carpet, in a gown like that, I expect something a little more.

  • marilyn

Dress is okay.  Hate the hair and the watch (or bracelet?).   The hair is too messy and the jewelry is not appropriate for a dress like this. She should not be wearing what looks like a watch with it.

  • kattyatlaw

Whoa. She looks incredibly like Dianna Agron here. I would like to see them play sisters now please.

Also, I get that you don’t want to only be seen as Khaleesi, but that doesn’t mean you should let your gorgeous giant eyes disappear into a lack of makeup, Emilia. You’ve got ‘em; flaunt ‘em!

  • Srw27

Love her, wish the dress was in a different color, something brighter maybe?

  • MilaXX

Much better than that bobble head editorial. She looks pretty here.

  • fireontiger

The dress is gorgeous, and fits her like a glove. Not loving the mermaid hair, or the makeup – the lip doesn’t bother me, but her eyes just disappear.

Honestly, if I didn’t know her by name, I’d never have picked her out as the Khaleesi!

  • butterflysunita

    Gorgeous.

  • kimmeister

Way too much going on downstairs.

  • TheOriginalLulu

Whoever she is, she looks really good. Love the dress and it appears to fit her really well.

Too … busy.  And yet plain. (How in heck does that happen?)

You know, I’d like this a lot if the dress hit at the knee. Although the ruffles kind of mimic the kinks in her hair, so…it’s consistent?

  • ChiKat67

Dress & accessories are fantastic.  DYI hair & makeup ruins it though.

  • sashaychante

Dress does look good on her.  If this dress was white, it would look like a bridal cake.

  • jenno1013

The fact that her feet are invisible gives me the creeps.  Like she’s wearing a column cocktail dress and standing behind a ruffled satin shrub.  Or like her top half is one of those half-Barbies you stick in a hoop-skirt-shaped cake.

Girl, that is not your hair.
When you wear a wig for your day job, your real hair should look natural and awesome.

  • Lina_bee

I’m not at all sold on the jewelry, makeup, or clutch, but the dress is pretty great. The hair…I see what they’re attempting, but I think she needs another couple of inches of length to get the look they’re going for.

  • TieDye64

This would be so much better if she’d done something better with her hair. A sleek, simple ‘do and a killer clutch would go a long way in making this really work.

  • TSkot

Both she and the dress look cheap.

  • guest2visits

I like it even though it seems a little heavy; also think she should have worn her hair more formally with all this black satin.

  • http://twitter.com/marriedkuntz farts

    Looks cheap

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

I’m not in love with that dress.  It looks like the dress is wearing her.  But her beautiful, natural and radiant smile – that really is what sells this for me.

  • crash1212

Wow. I just don’t hardly recognize her out of Khaleesi drag! It’s really weird. I think she looks beautiful here. Dress fits her to a T and she looks good in it – like she likes it! Even though I’m not a fan of the over-the-shoulder-hair thing, I don’t seem to mind it here. Jewelry and make-up seem pretty perfect here as well. Altogether – job well done Khaleesi!

  • Sarah Aronson

I think I’d like this a lot if it were shorter!

  • http://twitter.com/hurricaneemilyy Emily Shaver

I don’t really like the skirt, but she is selling the fuck out of it. Nice job bb

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2P2ANLRZ6YAVGONA36I2AQJYGI VicD

Wow, she looks so different.  Absolutely hate the Thrones blond hair on her.

  • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

The dress is pretty fab and she’s working it, but she needs to fire whoever did her hair and makeup, because she is gorgeous and they do NOT play up her features nearly as well as they should. She’s got these big expressive eyes and they’re completely receding, and while I like the brown on her, that mermaid hair is played out.

    Sorry Khaleesi. Still love you.

    • Sally Brownson

I agree- I feel like her makeup is super-aging, too.

  • quiltrx

That is a KILLA dress, and she seems to feel beautiful in it.

  • http://twitter.com/pag_baj Paige Boerman

She looks SO DIFFERENT with dark hair. Almost unrecognizable. Surprisingly, I prefer the blonde. The dress is fine.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ENBX3563Q4ZNCVRGSJVFIB7OAA Thom

No Sir, I can’t abide that skirt, or her hair, or *that* shade or red on her lips (and nails).

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

I quite like the dress, but the hair and make up just seems off.

  • http://twitter.com/nonchalantanna Anna

In a weird sort of way, I’m enjoying this. I don’t normally care for a firlly, layered skirt but she is wearing this the way it is meant to be worn, with class and a bit of attitude (also a super straight posture). I don’t love the way her hair has been done, but I do like the  wavy effect with a clean form and super shine, also no other alternatives come immediately to mind. Nice!

    That skirt is pretty fabulous….
