       I was just about to say that it looks very striking, and then I saw this, and now that’s all I can see as well!

      But…if I wasn’t thinking “used tampon”, then I would say it’s striking except for the fact that the bottom seems to fade into the carpet, which isn’t bad, but not great for these photos.

    It looks like someone hacked off her legs and she’s just floating there, smiling, as a cartoonish amount of blood gushes out. This dress, any way you slice it (ha), lends itself to some pretty grotesque imagery.

    I like the dress but I don’t like it on her. It suits her, its her style and everything but I kinda get the feeling she makes look a bit cheap. I don’t know why.

    The seaming on the front looks like undergarment wrinkles.  It’s too thick and yet not noticeable enough as a design element, at least in pictures.  The bottom…I dunno…for me it’s just a bit too far.  I can appreciate the juxtaposition of clean crisp white with crazy crimson poof, but did it really need beading, poof, feathers AND train?

    Re the Reddit used tampon comparison mentioned above, omg. Too dead on. It would be a great dress (apart from the bodice issues) if the muppet fur train had been ANY other color… ANY OTHER COLOR!

    I would have cut it off to leave the sparkly bits but no feathers.  Either that, or lose the cap(?) sleeves–too incongruous.

    Hmmm…. I think I’d like it more if the bottom wasn’t the same color as the red carpet and the top of the dress didn’t have those boob guard things on it. But still, a striking image.

    I might not hate it so much if the bodice didn’t have that weird thing and she wasn’t on a red carpet.  It looks like the carpet is eating her.  Or, like she is the new Terminator is Terminator 2 and she is rising from the floor and molding herself, so she can look for John Connor in the crowd.

    Like other have said, while this is beautiful and very dramatic, it’s not good for a red carpet. It just makes her look as if she is a floating along from her kneecaps up, and she’s lost her calves in some horrific accident.

    It’s too bad that the red feathered portion blends with the red carpet and makes her disappear around the knees, almost as if being subsumed by the carpet. The white portion of the dress has interesting shapes, but looks somehow more “modern” than the feathered bit and isn’t overly flattering.

    Did she have to drag through a field of strawberries in her pretty white dress to get to the red carpet? Any other colour could have worked. Yellow, for example, and some snap blue or green accessories – instead of boring red nails and clutch!

    And there are fit problems with the top of the dress- around her ribcage area/back/sleeves (possibly from construction and the weight of the dress) and I think it should be more fitted below.
